It doesn't work

Very frustrating app. The main part of the app...detecting sounds...does not work at all. I know it is free but how about a semblance of a working app?

The phone jack is n the way so you can't record anything. It says you can remove the jack, record and then use headphones to listen but as soon as you remove the headphones, it stops recording.

I was hearing the cars outside, couldn't find my own heart beat

Not worth the time to d/l or write this review. They want $24 if you want an app that actually works like an electric stethoscope. The functions they provide are to record and play back the captured sound. That would be cool but I couldn't get it to work. The app crashes randomly too.

Flawed in design

Uses mic but you also HAVE to use headphones. I have no idea if this app even works because the mic and headphone jack are on the same side of the phone. So I was never able to get it flush against my body.

I feel like an idiot for even trying this app. The creators are probably laughing at me for thinking I can hear my heartbeat thru an iPhone mic.

So, this app is crap. On my phone the headphone jack and the microphone are right next to each other. The app's directions clearly tell you that you can remove the headphones and record then listen, but every time I tried this it wouldn't let me record with the headphones out. So I never could get the microphone close enough to hear my heart beat.

I find it helpful to listen to different normal and abnormal sounds of heart, lungs and others..and the descriptions are good too..please update with new sounds..

Stethoscope is disappointing. Incompatible with current iPhone 6. Poor quality. Will be seeking refund and sending product back.
