Data disappeared

Pretty good free little spreadsheet, but when I narrowed a column too much the data disappeared completely. Also when copying a "SUM" formula to a new column top and then adding data within that SUM range below it, the SUM did not change. Workaround was to delete and then restore the "close" parentheses in SUM formula, which served to refresh the new total.

Could be better. Need more options-maybe double columns under one column (e.i. date/amount). It is kinda doing the job but could be better.
