Not good. Bad, in fact.

If what you want in a dictation app is something that transcribes what you actually say to your iPad, then don't use this one.

Awful.

I am a writer who has some of his best ideas while driving, so I am looking for an app that will take continuous dictation. This app failed to correctly transcribe five out of six test sentences spoken in a clear, concise voice (ironically enough, it only got my last one when I described how bad it was). Also, if you stop speaking for even a second, it assumes you're done, and you have to reactivate it. Lastly, it doesn't recognize punctuation commands, like "period" or " question mark." I shall keep searching.

Horrible

Does not transcribe dictations properly. Wanted this to help transcribe my notes for school. Waste of memory on iPad.

Worthless

At first I thought it was a joke app, as I spoke a test sentence into it, and it returned with "clean your room". What? Nice idea, but doesn't deliver. D/Led and deleted, and in this case, you get what you pay for,

Very nice!

It is actually accurate when talking clear and slow. I am impressed. I searched for a long time and liked this app.

A very good app

NYDG

I found this app to do very good voice recognition without any training. Copying and pasting the text into an email or word processing program was very easy.

Scam no app

This app is a scam links to another app to download. Piece of sh..

Not very accurate...

labambashell

I spent more time fixing its errors than I would have saved from typing it out. It's easy to use, but not very accurate.

Doesn't work - at all!

Worst wasted hour of my life trying to figure out how I could rearrange my (educated) vocabulary in order for this thing to not think I was speaking Russian - don't waste your time with it!

Lightweight, agile.

This app is simple. At its simplest, it is a single notepad and a single button. At its most complicated, it's still simpler than Notes. That being said, the transcription engine is as accurate as I know how to judge it – though I would notice the caveat of it not being as 'patient' with silences as the built-in dictation engine within iOS seems to be. It doesn't do much, but what it does do, it does fantastically. Also, I run iOS 5, and it's still fast. That is appreciated.
