Good, odd adventure!

Bobbystiych13

With a slightly ambiguous story, good music and its weird childlike artwork, Isoland presents itself as fun little adventure game. It is fairly easy for the most part, although there were a couple of spots that made me growl, "I was supposed to click THERE??" You need to play though it twice to get the real ending, but the only difference in Act 2 is a few additional puzzles. Only after watching the real ending did I understand the first ending, and since the art style made me think it was a happy little game, the real ending took me by complete surprise and view it in a completely different light. With a price tag of one measly dollar, most classic adventure gamers can't go wrong with this wonderful little quickie. SPOILER: The plot, at its core, is a Lovecraftian yarn. Given the presentation, this totally knocked my socks off; without any previous knowledge of the Lovecraft Mythos, I can see where most people would be confused by the story. And upon beating it, all the little details that should have clued me in to this came flooding back to me. What a great experience!

Best. Game. Period.

If you are intrigued by strategy games or sequencing or brain teasers, this is for you. I loved it. The storyline is fascinating too. Beautiful art and soundtrack. Can't wait for more!

Absolutely wonderful game!!

Trostli

I loved it, great value at 99¢! Very enjoyable puzzle game, great buy if you're into these complicated games. Definitely requires you to pay attention to everything you see. Now.. My only issue is I can't figure out what I'm missing, who I haven't talked to, and how to get to round 2... Needs a more elaborate ending, assuming I've reached the end...

Movie/video doesn't work

XcFbWe

"Get tips from watching videos" not working. No video. Also, many of the "mystery triangle rocks" are non existent.

Good Game For A Buck

Played through both rounds, enjoyed it. But now I'm frustrated because I still need the investigator achievement. Who did I not talk to?!

Fun, but short and occasionally frustrating

Overall I liked this game quite a bit. The style of art is interesting, and some of the puzzles are fun. However... it's a pretty short game. I finished both endings (you're supposed to play it twice) the same day I downloaded it. Most of the puzzles are easy, but at one point I was stuck and I had to look for a walkthrough online. I enjoyed what there was - I wish there was more!

love it!

Great game. Fun graphics.

Keep Playing!! (Past the end)

I started playing this game and it took me a little by to understand it, but eventually I caught on. Then I finished it and felt it was rather anti-climactic, but at the encouragement of another review decided to play it a second time. It's worth a second shot is all I'll say...plus even after a second shot there maybe a couple of tiny things to figure out after that. All in all this was an excellent game. I found it after waiting for the new cube escape/rusty lake game to come out and this more than satisfied my gaming desires. If you haven't played any rusty lake/cube escape games and are looking for a good follow up, I highly recommend them.

Wonderfully intriguing

This games full of fun occult references and great puzzles. I could play through it a hundred times and enjoy it more and more. I hope the creator of this great game will continue to make more games like isoland.

So Good

Just an all-around fantastic game. Beautiful and unique artwork, complex and difficult puzzles, and a perplexing story line make this one of my favorite games on the App Store right now. Thank you Cotton Games for this masterpiece!
