Great little game! Worth it.

Lots of puzzles and a good story. Totally worth the money. Also, love the Gattaca reference at the end! Great movie and great little game! Keep it up.

Off to a rough start

I prefer to be able to keep any pictures I take in the game itself rather than in my personal photos. Since I don’t have that option, I figured I’d save then delete as needed. But when I select ‘save to files,’ the game crashes. I really enjoyed the first Isoland, so I hope this won’t be an issue.

Short but worth every penny.

I absolutely adored this game. The puzzles were inventive and fun. They weren’t rehashed puzzles or over used. The graphics and dialogue were delightful and the story was so cute. I can’t wait to play another game by this developer. I can only say I laughed out loud at the ending. ❤️

A RIVAL FREAK

WORTH THE WAIT!!! I stumbled upon Isoland shortly after it was in the App Store. Over the past few years, I’ve returned to play it, although it’s been some time. When I saw pre-order for part 2, I knew I was gonna get it ASAP, tho I didn’t pre-order it. I happened to be awake about 2:30 in morning EST, n it must’ve just hit, cuz at first it wouldn’t accept my payment. I was elated after a few tries n it began its download. Loved the fact that there aren’t any walkthroughs available yet to look up, and so I truly was forced to get thru it on my own (or pay for hints). A few times I got stumped for awhile, but that’s mostly due to the non-linear aspect, WHICH IS A GREAT WAY TO DO THE GAME. It’s less structured, n makes u recall things one might have seen much earlier on. The only hindrance w/this method, is when speaking to ppl, they repeat n tell u things like a machine is broken, despite already having fixed it, etc. I took my time, knowing this would be it for a LONG time again, as these games take a lot of work. I enjoyed the Easter eggs I found (don’t know what I may have missed, as again, it’s too new for walkthroughs that would tell you). If ur used to these games n get frustrated n want to just ‘cheat a little’ on a part or clue u just feel too stumped on...DONT! Trust me, you’ll figure it out n savor the game. I looked thru the machine where u purchase clues or can scroll items. So, towards the end, I knew I had a few I still needed, b4 taking off on the rocket. U can do that w/o a hint, n it was helpful to know to keeeep looking for things u might not necessarily need to complete. SOMEHOW I managed to miss the achievement for not speaking to EVERY SINGLE PERSON ON THE ISLAND. lol. Looked at my achievements AFTER I’d already taken off in rocket n ended game, so I’ll let this one go a bit, then give it another go.

Lurve this game

I don’t just love this game I lurve it, everything about it. The dialogue is like weird poetry. The puzzles are unusual and just hard enough. I was unable to use the camera on my 2018 iPad, but I just used the pencil and made drawings instead. I love that there are several female characters. I loved the time travel swish. I was sad I couldn’t save the whale or the creatures in jars.

Much love for this game!

Actually all the games up to this point — Mr. Pumpkin’s Adventure, Isoland, and now Isoland 2. The unique art style is what initially attracted me, and then the story and gameplay got me hooked. There are a LOT of point and click type games out there on the market, but few produce such a fine balance of logical challenge, visual esthetic, and solidly intuitive controls. The drawing pad option was a nice add (like in Agent A), though I was still more inclined to snap pics on my phone or keep a scratch pad handy. This one does feel a bit shorter than the other installments, but don’t let that stop you. It’s still a great addition to play through!

Amazing game ??
Jamcat1190

I really enjoyed this game, even better than the first one! The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the screen where you can write notes kept popping up when I tapped the screen. Even when I tried to tap on something in the opposite corner as the notes button, it would pop up. This bug was annoying because I was constantly having to close the notes screen. It didn’t prevent me from finishing the game or anything and I absolutely loved the graphics. You can tell a lot of effort went into making this game!

My Kind of Game!
Gammygamer

I’ve been so in need of a game I could immerse myself in and solve challenges, I went back and played some old goodies. Then I saw this and have been hooked! Well done! I am going to go to the first one and try that. Kinda reminds me of the Rusty Lake series!

Second review ever, must have for myst / room escape adventure fans
Polabonez

It’s beautifully designed, great characters and art. Good logic - if you are an escape the room / myst style adventure hunter don’t even think - just buy it. Got through the game without hints after a few days. I was confused with the ending so looked online after to see if I was missing something ... and I was. Hint: play the game through TWICE for the alternate, much more satisfying ending. Great game developers I’m checking out your other titles now!

So far so good
BooberryDreams

But the first time I tried playing this game, it was set in Korean by default cause I downloaded this game in Korea. But in Korean translation, the captain of the boat doesn’t give you the directional hint needed to open the light house. All he says is ‘I know the world to be big, if you go around enough, you’ll end up in the same place’, something along the lines of that in Korean. It doesn’t give you the necessary hint, so I was lost for the longest time before I looked up a walkthrough and found out what was missing. It’s frustrating cause the whole point of this game is to find clues and solve mysteries. And I would hate to do this again in the future as I play it through and some clues are lost due to mistranslation again. Please fix this.
