A Good Start

Bones3D

This is a unique color matching title that's easy to pick up and play. A few suggestions for the developer... There needs to be a few surprises in the game to keep the player interested and on their toes. One way to do this would be to introduce special boxes that change the flow of the game, such as a "wild" box that can be used to match any color in each direction. Other types of boxes might be ones that trigger certain events after a set time or triggered by the player... such as one that would eliminate all boxes of a certain color, or one that would eliminate all boxes within a set radius. These special boxes could also used together to trigger even more advanced events, such as matching 3 "wild" boxes to clear the entire board completely! Other ways to modify the game might include letting the user alter the board directly, such as swapping adjacent columns to quickly match boxes buried along the bottom of the stack. Also, it might be worth checking out other games in the app store featuring similar game mechanics, such as "Fuzzle" or "Trism", to get an idea of what works best in terms of what's possible on the iPhone.

Clean and great!

Iso is very interesting because the game does not change its speed but it gets harder anyway. The interface is clean and the gameplay is very simple. It's an excellent pick up and play. Recommended.

Simple, yet a challenge!

Seems to be easy to stack blocks in color sequence but the game gets harder without getting faster. A great pick-up for a buck.. Perfect for a 10 minute time killer.

iso is a smooth, nice game - a perfect example of minimalist design pulled off well. Its Tetris-like gameplay (with its own little twist) proves to be an effective timekiller. I absolutely love how the stacks grow to be uneven and tipping, and would even consider accentuating it even more. I gave it four stars instead of five because it only has one pace. That's not to say that I don't enjoy the fact that it adds challenge by adding colors instead of speed, but I'd rather that the uesr could choose his or her own difficulty level. I'd also like the option for a smoother difficulty curve - start at fewer colors and take more time before another color is added to the mix. It always seems that I just start playing and I'm juggling all the colors in no time at all.

Fun game

It would be nice if you added more color schemes for partially colorblind people, I had some trouble with the blue and the purple myself.

addictive

I had the pleasure of playing this game before it hit the App Store. It was ridiculously addictive then, and it is ridiculously addictive now. Be Warned!

Do you like tetris type games?

This game I like, I'm big on block placing games and this one is a great addition. After playing it just once, I knew it was a keeper.

Pure Greatness!!

iso is a masterpeice! Reminds me of Columns for the Sega Genesis, and that was a great game to begin with. This game has a beautiful art style, simple yet satisfying controls and a great price. The online scoring is also an added bonus. Just some improvments would be a changing pace/difficulty level and maybe a color changing option. This game will be on my iTouch for a long time!!
