About the California ISO
As the nonprofit public-benefit company ensuring reliability for most of California’s and a portion of Nevada’s high-voltage power grid, the California Independent System Operator Corporation (ISO) is helping advance a smarter, cleaner, and more reliable energy future. The ISO operates the West’s only competitive energy market that balances supply with demand and has a key role in achieving clean energy goals.
As a casual observer of the CA electrical system this app is awesome. I love all the pretty graphs in the new update.
Fantastic update! The app previously was marginally informative, but this update allows the user to access a great, great deal more data. The interface is both intuitive and efficient. Great job!
The new update is very nice! Much better organized and informative. Great job.
There is a repeatable crash when alerts are accessed. It is now stuck with a notification badge that can’t be seen. Please fix.
With this app and SCE TOU rates I determine optimal times for charging my EV. I look for periods of both low system demand and when renewables are likely on the margin.
I can't believe that this app made it to production. It simply doesn't work after opening. It crashes and shuts down instead. Did they not tests it before shipping? Sheesh ....
