I love love this story!!!! But the energy stuff gets really annoying and I don’t really have the money to buy it.
Energy cost are way too high!

The amount of energy to continue this story is beyond ridiculous. You get to read for about 2 minutes a day before you get cut off. I wouldn’t mind paying for the whole story but I’m not paying $20 to read for $5 minutes!!!

I love it but I think you guys should add a daily login so the reader could get bonus energy everyday. And expand the energy slot to like 1000 because I like where I’ve read to so far, but the suspense is killing me and I need to find out what happens next, not just in Sebastian’s story but for all of the stories. Also when is Daryl’s story coming out?

?FIRST REVIEW: I love Mystery Spell, and when I found out about Sebastian’s story, I couldn’t be more thrilled. I do love the Bartholy family with all my heart, but I really wanted a story outside of their household. This story had a strong start, and led me to believe that she was on her own. Perhaps living in an apartment. But when she dropped that she lives with them, then I knew that the same old was coming. I know they are the main family of this universe, but perhaps in Sebastian’s story, we could actually be enemies/strangers to the Bartholys. See them from a different perspective. Or even keep them away from being the main focus and still have their powerful influence over the city. Have more conflicts. Maybe it’s because I have read all the other stories and it all seems the same. If we do end up leaving for that internship with Sebastian then I’ll probably be surprised and change my view. Until then, let’s see what Sebastian has in store for us. ??? UPDATED: It seems my questions have been answered! The Bartholy boys are NOT the main focus, and it’s kinda sweet! Not the same old! I am enjoying this story quite a lot and brings me back to the excitement when I first met Drogo. I am super excited to read more and more! It is not as predictable and it’s definitely more sensual so beware younger crowd!!!! ??? Energy is the same “pay to read ahead” system so I am not bothering complaining about that. ❤️

There’s a fair amount of pop-up ads and too little energy. I’m not into spending $$ on energy and special in game currency because it winds up too expensive. I’d rather buy a route at a time at a reasonable dollar amount for gameplay. What little you see of the story each day is satisfyingly trashy, but the writing comes off a little immature. I love reading trashy romances but I prefer them to be more mature and without the typical eye rollingly bad teenager tropes/cliches. Dumbing things down to stereotypes is doing a disservice to the teen girls you are trying to court into spending money. All in all the best thing about this game is the artwork and I will probably be deleting it from my phone soon to make room for better games.

This app is purely driven to get the most money out of you as possible. I understand paying to read the story because I can only imagine the work that goes into creating the story, character etc. I’m sure you could spend 50 dollars on the highest amount of energy and STILL won’t be able to just read the whole thing straight through. If you don’t the spend money and try to do it without you get 5 mins of entertainment tops. I suggest that you go to another game that allows you to pay a REASONABLE AMOUNT (5-10 dollars) or gives you a decent amount of content for the day for the whole story. This is not worth your time. I highly suggest this company be more friendly to their fans and not so money hungry. You aren’t creating best sellers exactly I just find it really funny that you expect people to spend $ or sit through this.

Looks like these apps have not improved since I last played through Drogo’s story. The energy system is still outrageous but I won't go into too much since it looks like that will never be fixed, which is sad because these apps have so much potential. One problem I have with these stories is that a lot of it seems like filler. I found myself skipping through parts that stopped being of interest to me after reading through Drogo’s story because it feels like I've already read it. For example any interaction I have with Sarah who is just there to listen to your problems or complain about choices you make. I'm sure once she gets her own route we can learn more about her but until then she's a filler character that you repeat events to. Another filler character is the little girl (I forget her name). I get it you play a babysitter in all of these stories but I honestly don't know what else she brings to the overall narrative of the story other than being a person you have to interact with once you go back to the manor and never learn anything about. And what do you know after skipping through interactions with these characters all your energy is gone and the story has still not advanced and I haven't learned anything new. Another problem I have (just my opinion) is that the mc and sebastian lack any real connection. All they do is get together and talk about his career which gets boring and then proceed to have a random steamy moment which makes me laugh because it feels so unearned. Also, I was only able to make it to chapter 3 before I got tired of the main character recycling the following phrases ”I really admire Sebastian ..” ”I look up to Sebastian ” ”i wish to be just like Sebastian” it just gets too fan girl/borderline obsessive for my taste. Not sure if this improves but I'm not willing to pay another 20 dollars to find out in the next chapter.
