Story is Intriguing, Energy System is Bad

I understand why games have energy systems, and hey, I support them to an extent. The app developers need to get paid too when the app is free. However, I’d almost rather have just forked out $4.99 or something and have the entire story at my fingertips. The problem with the game is that you only get to read a few lines a day. You get at most a brief conversation- sometimes an unfinished one which leaves you confused the next day as you try to remember the three lines you read yesterday. Honestly I’m sure there’s a good story here somewhere, but they just don’t give you enough of it to stay interested in the app. They’re obviously trying to get you to buy energy- and I did once- but it didn’t get me as far as it should have for what I paid. They would make much more money allowing you to watch more videos to get even more energy, which would in turn keep players interested in the game. Every day I start thinking it’s less and less worth it to open the game, and any day now I think I’ll give up. Oh well, they’ve lost as revenue on me!

I wouldn’t get this unless your plan on paying for it because you only get to play for 2 seconds before you’re out of hearts so you either have to wait till the next day or buy more hearts. The storyline is good I’ll give them that. But it’s so hard to get interested in it cause as soon as you get in to it you can’t play anymore. That was more annoying than the story was good... Deleted.

I absolutely loved season 1! But I personally wish that it was not limited to only 300 energies a day. I am hoping that there will be a season 2!

Okay so the art and storyline is MAGNIFICENT!!! But the potion things you're s'posed to use to move on is ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!! YOU CAN ONLY GO ON AND READ AT MAOST 7 WORDS!!!! Y'ALL. NEED. TO FIX THAT!!!! But the story is LIT

I’m not too far into the story yet, but so far I really enjoy the interesting tidbits that add depth to the characters and this world. I was not expecting multidimensional characters. I think it wants a little for world building, but I won’t complain for a free app. My biggest issue is that I can’t save up energy. I decided to just log on to get energy so I could get through a whole chapter in one sitting, only to realize that it expired. Considering how quickly the energy goes (like I said, can’t even finish a chapter), I’d really like this to be looked into. If not unlimited energy, then something higher than 300 please!

I really was excited about this game and I even put money into it to get further into the story, but now it sent me back to the beginning and I tried going to the chapter tab but it just shows that all my progress disappeared!! As much as the story is interesting and fun it is not worth it if the game is so glitchy that your progress is lost and the money you spent is for nothing.

This is such a good app, I love how you can make your own choices and feel like you’re in the story . The only bad part is the energy system because 300 a day isn’t that much in order to get through a chapter. But it is worth the wait i recommend buying energy it is cheap and worth it . I love everything else about this app. But I would love being able to design my own character. Other than that it’s wonderful i highly recommend ❤️

The energy system is a drag and the story is boring. Typical girls-love-bad-boys bs. You play a bogus game to earn an extra 100 energy, which you then question why it even exists. Bonus scene if you’ve been picking the right replies BUT pay $2 if you didn’t pick the right replies so you miss out on it entirely if you don’t want to pay. Who pays for crap like this anyway? Already hard to want to keep “reading” cliche story.

Seriously? 300 energy a day, using 10 energy per line, and even more energy on choices?? I could only get through 7 pieces of dialogue and then told I can’t continue the story. What an awful way to sell a story, and the prices for energy is absolutely unreasonable. Plus, the translation needs work. Not a good game in my opinion.
