You can freeze blocks into floor near your location to temporarily trap guards and may safety walk atop them.
Also breaking frozen blocks you can reach some bombs.
Over time, frozen blocks will regenerate.
A trapped guard who cannot escape immediately respawning at the top of the level.
Floor may also contain trap doors, through which men will fall, and solid blocks, which you cannot freeze.
The faster you go the better, because over time your score is reduced and for zeroing begin to explode these bombs that you have activated.
If you was dropped down, or if you stayed in regenerated block, or activated bomb exploded - bonus will be reduced.

Nice but can't figure out gameplay.

I like the game, it works with my iCade Jr. for the joystick controls, but no matter how much I try, I can't figure out how to freeze the blocks to trap the guards chasing you (whether using the iCade controller or the touch screen controls). I read the in-game tutorial and went thru the controls setup, but without being able to figure out how to freeze the blocks, all I'm doing in the game is running around, and so I got bored/frustrated as a result. Also, the bombs change color when you run over them (does red mean they're inactive and green mean that they're active??? -- don't know because the instructions don't tell you). Again, I like the game, its sounds, its concept (is very much like Lode Runner), but for the life of me, I just can't figure out how to play it. If I could figure out how to play it, I'd give it another try, but I'm stumped. Glad it's a free game.
Love the game but I don't buy IAP

Would happily buy a version with all content available without the IAP. Still 5 stars for what's in the basic game. Great graphics and sounds.

UPDATE: iCade controls added, the game is 100 times more playable now and quite fun. 1 Star added as promised. I like the Lode Runner series which this loosely follows. Level design is intricate and goes from easy to insane pretty quickly. You can also speed up the action or slow it down and even record video plays of the level. The problem I had was controls. Now the developer was nice enough to give several control layout options but I haven't found any one better than the other. The addition of iCade would have been nice but unfortunately it's only virtual buttons. And you need to be precise once you get to the later stages, which I got really frustrated with. It's not bad though, maybe an update will refine some control issues.

For a lode runner game, precise control is important. But the control is very inconvenient. If you use the swipe control, you will sometimes walk into a pit right after you dug it because raising up your finger is sometimes recognized as swipe. If you use the button control, the buttons are too small for a human's hand. The game has incredibly many ads. Before each stage there are two ads. Every time you pause or continue a game there is one. And sometimes ads pop up in 2 seconds after you just start a game.

Ads. Ads. Ads. I can't play the dang game without ads popping up LITERALLY every 3 seconds. Fix it. Unless this review will stay at one star. Plus it is VERY unclear what the heck I am supposed to do.
