Installing Iriun Webcam drivers for your computer:

Run the installer and follow instructions on the screen.
Using Iriun Webcam:
1. Launch Iriun Webcam app on your iPhone
2. Start Iriun Webcam Server on your PC
3. The phone is connected automatically to your computer using wireless WiFi network and the camera is ready to use.
4. Configure PC/Mac applications to use Iriun Webcam as a video source

This was a pretty doable option to use as a webcam for YouTube videos until I became quickly annoyed at the fact that there was no option to rotate the camera down. This is very annoying because it is stuck in one position unable to rotate with the screen. Also the camera lags during video recordings and is also annoying. I am not sure why there is no usb option that would help strengthen the connection.

The app works great on both my phone and my laptop, I only wish he could connect via USB and not only Wi-Fi. Sometimes my camera will lag because of the connection where that would not happen is it was a USB connection

I am so happy to have found this app. Initially Zoom did not support it, but once I updated the Zoom app, Iriun was on the list. I had been shopping web cams but Iriun came along and ended my search. It’s just what I needed. Iriun makes my iPhone SE 2 into great webcam for my modest purposes, mostly Zoom a few times a week.

I started using this app and liked it so I decided to buy the pro version. Not much difference was noted. The aperture did nit make a difference. Is there a way to get my money back. So disappointed ?
Lock exposure?

I think I might have to revise my review. I upgraded to pro for one feature - the ability to lock the exposure. I can’t seem to do it on my iPhone SE 2020, iOS 14.14.2. I see an icon that looks like the one for exposure (a half black/half white “sun”) but can’t see any changes when I tap it – exposure varies as I move the phone around. Frustrating because there is no way to contact the dev – I looked around the web site, can’t find a link with an email, nothing. Time for a refund I guess.
