Ripoff / deceitful pricing for family but marginally useful

MikeyTru

First, you have to buy the premium version for this to be useful. Not a big deal as I don't mind paying for valuable apps (I have upgraded many apps for as much as $20). However, this developer wants to squeeze as much as possible by making you think the upgrade fee is just 3.99. However, it is 3.99 per device even if you have Family Sharing. So, I can't share the app between my iPad and phone without paying for the upgrade again. Reached out to customer service multiple times and they basically said "Tough Luck". Don't buy it if you consistently use multiple devices as a family. If you only use one device as a family, you are probably fine. As for the app, I would say 50-60% is intuitive and the remainder just takes some clicking around to figure out how to customize. Customer service response time is fine, but pretty easy when you just have to respond with "too bad" all day. Perfect business model for AI canned responses I guess.

Good but can reset....

Don'task for nickname

It is a good app but you cannot take away a point/star if was given by mistake. I made a mistake by giving my son's stars to my daughter and you cannot delete it or reset it. There should be a way to do that. Also don't change the pre-type list thatnis given, always ADD a new one other wise its gets really messy if you wants to delete it and change it.

Good app

Ammie Clark

Good app but went to get on today and everything gone won't login and doesn't register that I paid for it

Used to work

Gordon_Cal

But has slowly declined into a piece of junk.

Good chore tracking app

sandboks

The app is simple to start using and good for tracking chores and very customizable. It will allow merits and demerits. The reward scale is up to you, no bells and whistles there. User interface is not intuitive beyond basic reward allocation. The original version hasn't been improved upon except for storing and recovering accounts. If you want the real custom features and more than on child added to the list you must pay. Customer service in my experience is terrible or nonexistent.

No support

Harohl69

Though the app has great potential there seems to be no support. When the app started crashing, I had to delete and reinstall. Now it wants me to pay again

Sync problem when you edit tasks

Sometimes when you check on/off a task, it doesn’t sync on the reward page or the screen where you move the items up/down.

App issues but has potential

Sheraea

UPDATE- AFTER UNLINKING MY FACEBOOK ACCOUNT THE APP WORKED; ***HOWEVER*** AFTER UPDATING TO iOS 11.1 the APP NO LONGER EVEN OPENS ? After setting up kids in irewards, I synced to my account with my Facebook. Since doing so, the app will not open. I deleted the app and reinstalled, which deleted everything I had set up. Basically, if you don't feel like doing a bunch of work for nothing don't hit the select to sync with Facebook option!!! Developers finally wrote me back and told me error would be fixed with next update -who knows when that will be! If you're thinking about purchasing this app you should make sure they have released a new update. The last update was May 2017 which is the version I’m having problems with. So if it has not been updated then don't bother wasting your money! Hopefully they resolve this issue soon, because it has the potential to be very useful!

Crashing

GarinGardinder

The app now crashes across each of my kids iPads and my phone. Sent email a week ago to the iRewards folks and haven’t heard back. Unfortunately my kids had a bunch of stars/rewards I owe them and I can’t see track it. Come on guys, at least be responsible enough to respond.

Happy

Happy so far. They were able to help restore my purchase. I use it every day to motivate my kids.
