A no-brainer but also a silent one

samuelluther

I used this app on an iPod Touch at a recent concert since it was a no-bainer to operate. No fussing with settings, bit rates, etc. Just start, stop, and pause. But the resulting mp4 fie wasn’t readable by iTunes or any other program on my Mac—even conversion programs. Be sure to run it for a trial audition first. Wish I’d brought a Tascam or Zoom recorder.

Great functionality and support

Best customer service! Useful and simple tool. Download off phone via wifi is very handy.

Functional with good quality

iRecorder works very well for recording my students lessons and masterclass performances. Very easy to email recordings immediately without downloading to the computer. Immediate feedback. Glad I have it.

update took away good features.

M..D..

No more swipe & touch to delete--must press a number of times. Huge delay in mic becoming active--95 percent of dictated notes must be re-recorded! I'm tired of having to update apps all the time. Just make a good product and only add features annually.

Empty recording files

App used to work great with iOS6. With iOS7 it looks like it is recording and then saves all files with a size of only 56kb (essentially empty). Please fix!

Does not work any more

Used to work - then stopped - ironically when I really needed it! Can't get it to work at all now! Kiersyn

Very easy to record. The best I have found

I record music in my choral ensemble rehearsal and play back to learn my part. It is better than other recorders because I can set it and just takes a touch to record or stop or pause. I don't find playback from the App satisfactory directly from the App. I have to save to my computer and then transfer to iTunes to make a playlist to listen on the iPhone or iPod. To listen on my car, I make CD's. However, I discovered that I can use the mp4 files exactly as I would an mp3. I was converting them until I realized it was not necessary. All this moving files around to be able to use them is a time-consuming pain, but I have not found anything better. And the sound is better than the Sony digital recorder that I used to use

Don’t. Just don’t.

Recording stopped with incoming call (a call I ignored). Lost half of a 3-hour interview. I’m sick. Absolutely sick. I advise strongly that you avoid this app.

Noooo

I thought this app would record the screen too anyway I could get my money back?

So simple -- so sweet

I was looking for a simple, clear, easy to use recorder so that with a single touch I could record presentations -- I found it here. Bravo and thanks!
