Needs polish, but a good start

I didn’t expect much from an app this far down the list, but I’m impressed with what I see so far. Background play works great, doesn’t stop when switching apps or locking the phone, and only really cuts out if it’s left to idle without anything to do. I must also applaud the decision to include trending and discovery tabs in the app; it makes the app feel like a complete experience, and shows the developers’ desire to create a quality app. Coupled the being able to favorite songs and videos and add them to playlists makes this app even more of a pleasure to work with. Finally, the User interface and search functions, while simple, is clean and easy to read. And, off course, this app is FREE; no having to pay for youtube premium. That said, there are some issue that, if addresses, could make this app even better. First, the search bar: when returning from a video back to search, it takes two taps to begin a new search; one to send you back to the search bar, and another to select the bar itself. The search bar should be persistent on both the main discovery tabs and on the search results page, allowing users to browse quicker. On that note, this app has a trending tab; an index of results that people have been looking up and spending the most time on: why doesn’t the search bar have something like this; an auto complete function and a previous search list? Yes, there’s a history tab (which is also a good feature), but having these other features would further increase browsing speed, and increase search result accuracy. Second, we have the search results page: it appears that the search results only shows 50 results for a given search, even then there are several thousand in reality, with no option to load more. I don’t want to go to another app just to find the exact title of the song/video I want, just to past it here. It wastesx time, and draws attention away from this app. Finally, the banner ad at the bottom of the screen. As a short aside, I get why it’s there; and given this is a free app, I am more than happy to have add in the search if it helps pay the developers. However, the ads current placement covers up search results, trending items, and related videos. If it’s going to stay, it needs its own spot where it isn’t going obstruct the main features. In summary, IPlay Tube is a surprisingly wonderful diamond in the rough. And with just an extra bit of polish, it will most definitely shine.

This app is a great idea, I like the fact I can play it with my smartphone’s screen off. I am giving three stars, because every time I open this app is like downloading the application again. Takes minutes to open and play videos. And the favorite videos is no really saving them. Improvements needed.

This game is the best music player ever.Now with this app I can listen to all my favorite songs without having to go on YouTube and search the song up because I can put all my favorites in a playlist and play all the songs in the playlist.So if you are reading and planing to get this you will have to never go on YouTube to listen to music.

Ok it’s good the app but when you record the music turns off and also when you want to play a game in roblox and you go to a game it stops and when you play fortnite it stops ugh

I Tried to upgrade but the link is broken. Otherwise I would give the app 5 stars. Other than a couple seconds pausing between songs, I love the app!
