I hate to give a poor review, but this app designer should have only offered a paid version- this is nothing but a few public domain IP cams with no way to add or view your own cams. Dont waste your time
Poor refresh on multi-Matrix view

When looking at the Matrix of cameras, the refresh is terrible. When singularly looking at one camera it works well. Can connect to ONVIF cameras, AND you can specify a specific RTSP port, something most other apps don't have and desperately need. So it's got that going for it.

Ugliest user interface I've ever seen but don't be deceived by it. It works super well and everything in this version that is available works like a charm.

I upgraded to the Pro version through my iPad, so on here it doesn't show I own it to write a review there. As a retired programmer myself, I have to say Robert Chou did a fantastic job with this ap. When I purchased it, I had to 10 year old Toshiba cameras and was surprised to find drivers for both. Since I've added two Vstarcams, models C7815WIP and C7838WIP. There are Vstar drivers but not for the two newer models. Would appreciate them in a future update. Thanks in advance.

Attempted to add several different cameras of multiple brands. The app simply wouldn't find the cameras. (Axis, Foscam, Bosch) The "simple" interface doesn't give enough information or offer a "manual" setup for ip cameras. Attempted setup both on my local ip network and using an external gateway. Same results. Needs some serious work.

I have multiple Nest Cams and various RTSP IP cameras and this app is simple to configure and display a tiled view of all your cameras (that fit) on your iPad. I was impressed how easy it was to configure a TrendNet TV-IP315IP, which had previously been a challenge with other packages, and the long list of supported brands encouraged me to add my Nest cams and they all look the same in the interface. Click the live video tile and you go full-screen with it. I was so impressed, I bought the premium version almost immediately. Nicely done.

I could not get my Defender System to work with ClearVu. I tried IP Can Viewer with out much hope of success. It worked perfectly and is very fast. I highly recommend it
