Good app, lacking view an export functionality
Solly may

This app is great, don’t get me wrong. The only issue i have is when I want to export data out of a table, since i have a limitation of 3 columns to select. I want to see my data in a tabular fashion and then be able to export it, instead of having to select the columns i want to see, like in sqlpro for mysql. I can’t justify the monthly fee of that app as i use this casually, but if you offer an in-app purchase or an upgrade for 9.99 to get the functionality that the app has, i will buy it in a heartbeat.

Don’t waste your time

I was looking for an app that would allow me to access mysql databases for queries and maintenance. I should have heeded my gut instinct when the ‘lite’ version doesn’t even allow you to run a query. The paid version allows you to query but you are limited to three columns. Are you kidding me? At that moment i realized I’d been had. Don’t make the same mistake i did. I just paid $9.99 of stupid tax.

the best MySQL drive on iOS

We worked heavily with DB, need to gain access from our sql server on the go, this is the best app u can get out there with only GUI to do some quick updates.

Outstanding

It's simple. It's beautiful. It works. What more could you ask for?

Quite Pleasant

Update: I have used this app more since my initial review and it has impressed me even more. I needed to create some table indexes and decided to see if this app could do it - not only can it do it, but it has an intuitive custom interface for creating single- or multi-column indexes. I also wanted to mention how nice it is to have iCloud sync for my database configurations. Finally, I emailed the developer directly with some bugs I found (including the ones in my original review) and he responded right away, then fixed the bugs in the next update. --- Original Review --- I have been hoping for a great (or at least good) iOS MySQL client for a while now and this one is pretty close. The interface is really nice, the performance is good (much better than my previous go to, an app called simply "MySQL"). It also supports split screen on the iPad which was unexpected and appreciated. Two issues I experienced: first, it had trouble with the ssh connection when using a password. When I would test the connection it would work but then the actual connection would fail. I fixed this by adding the provided public key to the server instead of using a password. Second, I tried to use the console to issue a CHANGE MASTER statement and was informed that it was not recognized as a valid SQL query. So it must not be a pure console passthrough as the command works fine when executed directly on the MySQL command line. On the flip side, a SHOW STATUS command results in a very nice, native iOS table view of the returned key/value pairs. That said, it's overall a great foundation for a new app and I'm hopeful that it will get enough support to improve over time.

SSH Key Login AND a good app? --- THANK YOU
Brian M G

Very easy to use for secure mysql setups. IT USES SSH KEY LOGIN! Its interface is fairly intuitive - with minimal poking I was able to figure it out very quickly and start manipulating and viewing data. Waaaaay better than Navicat for ios. No more running back to my desk or calling my team to login to the db to see what is actually happening with the data! I can even set this up for my more savvy clients to gain more flexible data access. This, combined with CODA --- I almost don't need a desktop to develop anymore.

Simple, attractive, useful

This client looks pretty good. I haven't used it extensively, but the interface is clean and well-designed, and it was simple to add a new database connection, browse tables, execute queries and edit data. One nice bonus: configurations are shared automatically across devices. I added a database connection on my iPad, then opened Iodine MySQL on my iPhone and found the saved database already in the list of available databases.
