Their server has been down for years, the app won’t update and connect. This needs to be deleted. Nothing works. Do not get this!

First time I tried it I got the following error "serial number has not been registered by XTooltech please contact them." Contacted Via email four times and no response. It's a scam from China. One star is too much.

This is a scam, they want you to download this, but when you try to connect you have to "activate" the software for 84 usd!!! Here's the email. Hi Friend, OK,I see.Thank you for the soon reply. I cannot get this unit to connect to my iPhone via Bluetooth. Although the unit says it is compatible with iPhone/iPad using a Bluetooth connection, all I get when trying to "pair" it is a message on my iPhone that says "iOBD2 not paired. iOBD2 not supported." I've tried just about everything I can think of, and have searched the internet for possible solutions, or at least some indication of human error on my part. It sounds like Apple devices just don't support data transfer via Bluetooth. I purchased this unit from Amazon, and plan to return it for refund.

You need to buy a little wifi thingy from Amazon to plug into your BMW's obd port. It works great for BMW specific faults. Read the app description.
