Need to give more invoices free but just started.. it's doing wat it said and taking time off figuring out bills as u can jot them as u do em..later. I'm still not liking the fact u have to give a review for invoices should give u ten a month I think ... so far great app forsure

4/3/17- developer contacted me a couple of days later and gave me a temporary work around. App was working normally after about a month, not days. I still use the app and it works great. Although I wasn't thrilled with the service at that time, it works great and have recommended to partners since the original review. App worked great for a few months and now that they changed servers, it doesn't work any longer. Please push out an update and fix this so your clients can get paid. Do not download this app until they update!!

I've found Alto to be inflexible and cumbersome to work with when generating a new invoice. There should be more templates available because what works for one sort of invoicing for a landscaper won't necessarily apply to a small accounting firm.... On the positive side... things. They Update it frequently.

Invoicing turns into a complex business once your clients start requesting them. It's amazing the great work the people working on Alto have done to ease and simplify the invoicing process. It has been really helpful to me and my clients. I get to keep track of past invoices, hours and I get a nice summary of how much I've made with certain client. The ability to send invoices via email and stripe integration are perfection. Hands down the best invoicing app out there. 5 deserved stars.

I have had a few bumps in the road since being an earlier adopter of this app. (I'm a one man, freelance illustrator) I have reached out to support a few times due to features having issues (which should be expected for new apps with small teams) They have come a long way but still have little ways to go. The past issues I have had, have been resolved but one, the Dropbox link issues. This feature isn't a deal breaker but would be a nice feature to have smoothed out ( The feature generates a link to a Dropbox file and places the link into the invoice, something you can manually do when writing a note to the client in the email). Through the couple frustrating moments in the past I have encountered with this app and at one point, shopping for an alternative, they have been responsive to my issues and have restored my faith in their product. For a $20 price tag for a years worth of invoicing, estimating, time tracking and more, it's a no-brained to hop on this app and grow with them. Although as customers we can get frustrated when things don't go as planned (Honestly, what in life does!) they have been responsive and have always followed through on fixes, updates and communication. They have earned my business for the foreseeable future.

Of the various invoicing apps available on iOS that I have tried, Alto was by far the nicest to use. It is clean, and everything is laid out in an intuitive way. The invoices are quick to create and look amazing. There are various options for how you want your invoice to look, and you even get three free invoices to send. Would highly recommend
Good app, but latest update just crashes

UPDATE: Reached out to support about the app crashing upon load, provided them with crash logs and they fixed the problem in a week with the latest update. All IS good and peaceful again! The app certainly has room for growth, but it's well cared for. All was good and peaceful in the land of invoices and estimates of Alto. Until, ironically, the update with built-in Zendesk support doesn't even launch. No bueno, since it leaves us in the mud with all pending projects and invoices!
This app is almost perfect for what I need!

Its priced just right, very user friendly. Nice clean design.. but its missing just ONE key feature thats holding me from purchasing a subscription.. PDF!!! My clients need their invoices in PDF or printed.. (government clients)
