Could not get to open after first installation so deleted and installed a second time - each took over 5 minutes. After opening indicated it was "building database for the first time". Stopped it after 20 minutes. Second try let run over an hour and nothing seemed to happen! What's going on?! Cannot rate if it never is ready to use!!
The numerous high quality photos are an excellent aid in identification in the field. The supplementary glossary and plant sketches are also quite useful for those of us without a plant-related college degree. I'd love to see more apps like this!
Downloaded, cover page opened, then nothing else worked. Now it just crashes. Only good thing was it didn't cost me anything (there's your one star!)
Always on the lookout for new plant apps and this is a good one indeed! Good quality and easy to see photos along with plant characteristic and distribution info help make this a good and well completed app. I just wish they would make one for the West to, and add even more weeds to it!
Half if the species listed for Texas are actually sold in nurseries and good to cultivate here with our crazy weather. It fails to even mention some of the more noxious plants that we fight constantly like bindweed, at least that's what I call it. Plus, after I chose Texas as the region, it would never let me go back to the menu and choose a different place.
This is an excellent comprehensive app. I was a bit surprised however, that Georgia's state flower is on the invasive list along with several old time shrubs. App is well written and researched.
Amazing quality and quantity of pictures. Descriptions are right on and in-depth. I was able to find what I was looking for (English Ivy) even though I live in the West Coast.
So far, I have ID'ed at least 20 nasty invasive plants in my tornado-stricken yard. Your pics are really detailed and helpful; thanks!!!!
