Fun game but needs work

Shifletter

It’s difficult to enjoy a game that advises you to juke zombies and when you do you can still get caught by the zombie you avoid. Also don’t be surprised if you have ones that stand up in front of you in tall grass not giving you time to react.

A baffling ruined sequel.

I enjoyed Into the Dead, the first one. Purchases were optional and ads were few and far between. The game was a simple runner. Now we skip forward to Into the Dead 2. First off, the game requires freemium. And it bombards you with ads. It took simple systems and tried to make it more monetizable. You now no longer have weapon crates that will give you weapons, you have two weapon slots. Three if you purchase another slot. Weapons have upgrades, and random chance is the main way to get these. These upgrades are almost necessary later in the game, or your weapons just won't hold up. The issue is these upgrades are rare and can't be farmed because of energy. Often upgrades are offered to you for money after failure. There are "premium guns" that are showcased at full upgrade level once a day, which at first sounds nice. Until you realize it's to try and entice people with a gun that's fully upgraded and show it off like it's exactly what you're getting when you "Buy it now". These guns cost anywhere from 3 to 8 dollars. Maybe more. There are daily events, which heavily incentivize using upgraded weapons, as zombies become very numerous and extremely tanky, hard to kill. These events give parts, but it's clear devs don't want you to get them. When you start getting near the last levels of the events the zombies have a massive health and number increase, the game is likely to crash at this point. Once you crash you lose all progress. Then there's "boosts". Rare, overpowered boosts that last part of a level. It's near impossible to get these through gameplay past two hours in. A few other issues not involving the business practices, rather the laziness. The art style is no longer oppressive and dark, it looks like a budget unity game. The game uses cheap tactics to soak up your energy, to get your money to pay for the once a run consumables that save you from death or for more energy. Many maps have missing floors and textures. You can see into the "void", under the map in almost every level in multiple places. If you want a good simple infinite runner game, pleas get Jetpack Joyride. There are ads but they aren't nearly as bad and the devs have good relationships with their community. Hell you could even get the FIRST into the dead, despite how much I now hate these devs.

It’s a good game just wish we get more coins and gold so we can upgrade the guns and stuff better don’t make this pay to win

Too much begging

Southpaw018

Too many ads, too many things locked behind paywalls. You can pay $10 a month to get rid of some of it. Not all of it. A good concept absolutely destroyed by naked greed.

Weak Graphic

Almost

Big NightTrain

Not a 4 or 5 star but a good 3 1/2, if only I could use a controller and play on my Apple TV.
