I ran into a bug with Apple's Photos app in which it would import but not delete photos from my iPhone, causing hundreds of duplicate photos to accumulate. InterPhotos completely resolved the issue, clearing all the duplicate photos off my iPhone. The only issue I had with InterPhotos is that I could not get the Mac and iPhone to talk to each other on the Wi-Fi network at my public library. However, they were able to communicate on my home Wi-Fi network without any issues
So far the cleanup works more seamlessly on the iPad than the iPhone & it's a little disconcerting when it prompts to "remove all" since there is no physical representation of your actual duplicate imagery as some apps provide. It seems to work and helps wrangle the myriad of issues plaguing the "camera roll." There needs to be a way to scan your HD as well so the lack of total feature integration is the reason I give 4 stars. The laptop drive is the holy grail of efficiency pursuits and this app seems to add more to gum up my system when it ignores the hard drive backup duplicate problem.
Does not seem to work if more than one photo library is chosen. I selected five folders, and it found no duplicates. When I deleted all of the folders from the list to search, e.g. Pictures, Photos, ..., leaving only the specific path to one Photos library, the app found 1000 duplicates
I have about 4,500 duplicates between my computer and phone. It found none of them. I emailed customer service and received no response.
