Instaread offers two subscription options: Monthly subscription for $8.99/month (with first week FREE) and a Yearly subscription for $89.99/year (with first week FREE). Cancel subscription anytime. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period by going to your iOS Account Settings after purchase. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you change from an annual to a monthly subscription or from a monthly to an annual subscription during the free trial period.

I used to love this app, the summaries are really good but they read it relatively slow so I used to listen to them at a higher speed. In the latest update I see that the functionality has been removed! Please add it back

Feeling Mislead!

I signed up for the free trial to test the trial out, and a few hours later I get an email from Apple telling me that I got charged $90 for the freaking yearly subscription ??!!! Please help me get a refund!! I haven’t even had a chance to really even try out the app yet. I feel scammed and mislead.

I must be honest I don’t like this app. It’s way overpriced for what it delivers. Very few book choices and the overviews have a lot of irrelevant information. Then I got my what I thought was a month to month subscription and it was charged as a yearly subscription all at once. Again not worth the money!!!!

I can’t open a book, after subscribing. Every time I try to open TK read, it takes me back to the subscription page

You says it’s 7-Day FREE and you charge me $89 per year well in advanced? It’s a hack. If we like it we buy it, but don’t create unnecessary process to cancel later (most forget) while trying free trial. Overall it’s a bad billing practice. I have no option to remove this app right away. Hope you create a better experience.
Book Summaries are Worthless

I was very excited about this app. I read a lot, and wanted to be able to listen to book summaries while commuting and exercising. Unfortunately, the summaries are terrible. They are too short, too general and vague, and spoken much too quickly. I listened to five book summaries, and got very little out of it. Very disappointing. It’s okay if you want to get the general idea of a book to decide if you want to buy it or not. But you won’t glean much content from these summaries. Just canceled my subscription.
