The best I have seen so far.

Ironman J

I really like this app. It's been years since I picked up a brush. I will tell you this its sparked a new love. One thing I ask please make it available for more layers. A drying option would be nice. It's always wet. Cmon.

Two thumbs up

Mr. OFlow

Excellent product.

It's a ROCKING Paint App!

This app is an artists dream... Easy to use with minimal effort. That said, it has more features than I could want & appears that the more advanced features have a steep learning curve.

great

I use it all the time.

It really is AWESOME!

I love this drawing app. It is powerful and you can achieve wonderful results. It takes time to discover all it can do. The blending of hard lines is my favorite feature. Turn the paint off and just mush the paint around is fantastic. Makes soft and beautiful edge work. Edges are what make an image looks real.

STYLUS SENSITIVITY FOR IPHONE!!!

UnDterred

Inspire Pro and Sketchbook Pro are the only two apps that offer TRUE stylus sensitivity for the Wacom Creative Stylus 2 on the iPhone! As a creative professional I am always sketching out ideas, capturing imagery for later use. I don't want to lug around an iPad so I opted for the iPhone Six Plus. It's perfect. Inspire Pro and Sketchbook Pro have slaughtered the competition by implementing pressure sensitivity to their iPhone apps. All apps that pair with a Bluetooth stylus have an offset issue. Inspire has accommodated this by giving the user the option to activate a curser in the settings pane. Sketchbook Pro doesn't do this. Therefore, I don't know where my next stroke is going to begin until an actual mark becomes visible. Inspire doesn't offer any sort of layering options so I often pull images from Inspire to Sketchbook and back again. Both are my absolute 'go to' apps! Inspire's blending is absolutely unparalleled!!! I cannot express this enough. The pressure response is incredible. I actually work more in my phone than I do on my computer now because the experience is so refreshing. Inspire is smooth running and the tools create incredible strokes. The user interface is easy to navigate. I love how you can manipulate your own palette scheme with such ease. Inspire Pro has quickly become my absolute favorite art app on the iPhone! Bravo to the team that works behind Inspire Pro!!!

Good but needs some improvement

I will ditto that this app is the best for realistic painting. It's fantastic. Now this review is for earlier version because I don't want to upgrade to iOs8. 1. The iPhone version offers two sizes - they come as a square and a rectangle. I cannot stress enough how important that you select the square!!! A rectangle will reduce your image DOUBLE THE SIZE making your efforts lacking any detail. The images will be tiny. This happened to me. I wanted to save my painting in each of it's stages because a lot if times I cannot makeup my mind whether I want this or that in a painting. Well. At some stage I accidentally have selected Import as a rectangle. It was a huge heartbreak for me. I will have to re-import and repaint. No big deal for some but for me over 6 hrs of work. If I was the developers I would kill the rectangle option. I think it's clear that us artists want as big as possible of an option!!! NOONE on earth in their right mind would say they want to paint something so tiny that nobody can see it. It's common sense! It doesn't matter which shape it is, be it rectangle or oval for all I care - is it too much to ask, please give us a bigger size. Give us the biggest you've got!!! I had an original photo of 580 kb, after import it became 216 kb. WHY, when it said in option that it would now be 916 kb??? Still usable (a A5 page can be printed) but after I accidentally reduced by selecting a darned "rectangle", it went to 100 kb!!! It became completely unusable. Ideally let us keep original size of imported photo!!! 2. Second suggestion is to allow for layers and a layer transform tool. Right now I need to switch between ArtStudio and Inspire. Which I got used to - not as big of a deal as losing QUALITY of an image and hours of work. 3. Add Airbrush setting for halos around the moon or soft glows around things. Otherwise a very nice software, very comparable to Painter as it feels and blends like the oils ... But with it's current size it's only usable as a sketch.

I bought this ap, followed directions . It freezes after one brush stroke or line. I contacted so support and left two messages , no replies. "Rip off", is my review.

This app was great, until the last update

Lupafel

This is a really great app for art. It has many tools, and is really useful. The playback is important to my art style, and that feature is used a lot. The only problem is that when I try to draw an image, it will let me in, but after a few brush strokes the app crashes.

Overall excellent

Huzitz

The high zoom factor and small brush detail is great, perhaps the best I've tried. The only problem is the number of icons on the screen is distracting. Maybe one icon to bring up all the other icons, or even some touch controls instead would be better. Just my opinion. Great app.
