Awesome app, This is the only one you need

Bloated app loads way too slow

DonAB

The developer's response 6mo ago hasn't altered the fundamental issues: Too long to get from app loading to the congestion map. App always centers my location on screen & it won't remember a revised/offset map from my location. There's no info on data retention in Privacy policy & our ability to have it purged. Unclear if a warrant would be demanded by INRIX to release our data. App continues to bloat. I've used this app for years to quickly show congested freeways. Recent versions now have far too long splash screen, load route colors very slowly (a full minute!), show surface streets' congestion at too far out zoom levels, & don't remember my last map area so every time I load app I have to readjust map area (which adds even more loading time). These changes have radically reduced the easy quick usefulness of the app. Take me back to earlier functionality!!!! I don't need yet another app to tell me how to get anywhere!!! What is security behind app remembering where I go?! How do I turn tracking OFF?! I don't want another Big Brother gathering data on my movements!!! How long is my driving data retained, how can I force it's erasure, what else does INRIX do with it, what are INRIX's policies for releasing that data? This is one BIG quagmire the app should not have. Also this app has become very bloated - >100MB now! Bandwidth & memory are not free!!! I don't need or want an endless set of bloated updates as more & more 'features' are added. Bloat!!!! As apps in a genre add 'features' on their way to becoming Swiss Army knives, their original strong core function gets buried & they all are doing the same things. They lose their identity & simplicity, their dominate strong suit. & more bloated w/features = higher dev & maintenance costs passed onto us + more updates to fix bugs in bloated code. This is NOT a good business model!

Needs work

I tried this as a alternative to an app with adds. How is this free app supported anyway? As far as directions, it does not use the names of exits as posted on the tollway, VERY confusing. I don’t remember what it was calling the Nagel exit, but it definitely was not Nagel. There is also an annoying ‘count down’ that starts when you get within a half a mile of your destination alerting you that you are now x feet closer, in case you were not sure you were still driving forward. The interface is also cumbersome. Good luck if you want to see if there is a Starbucks on the route. I do think you are on the right track. No adds and no selling my contact information is definitely an app I am in the market for.

Needs Improvement

This app still has many issues. This morning the middle lane on the tollway there was a wreck there was no way I could post it it would not let me. I’m looking at the app now and have decided it’s easier to post on Waze then it is on your site!

Retarded

I just made an avatar and already lost it. I mean literally 30 seconds ago. Now I have short-term memory loss but that’s sad. Let’s see if it does it again and again. I’ll give it another try

Tremendously useful app!

Dion&Lin

Great app. Helped me get around gridlock type situations on several occasions. Even shows local streets which could be used to bypass jams. Love it!

FINALLY!!

Tmrrrider

Since the loss of Beat The Traffic, I had been trying to find a simple, accurate traffic app so I can see where the backups are for my work commute. Finally found it here. Unlike the goofy "social media" traffic app Waze, this one opens with a traffic updated overhead map so you can see instantly where the problem spots are. Simple to use and you can add locations with alerts for certain times a day if you want. So far the maps are more accurate than any others I've seen. Love this app! Handy every day tool for me.

Forced Account Signup

jfm429

The app forces you to sign up for an account to add a favorite location. Shame on the developers for arbitrarily putting basic functions behind an unnecessary account signup. This is a disgusting trend and I'm disappointed to see Inrix falling for it as well.

Traffic

Temperature on screen

Works well for me.
