Attractive game, Huge power drain

The game works well enough. The basic levels are challenging and visually appealing, but it drains the battery and hats the phone faster than hi-def simulation games. Fix the power problems and I would gladly give it five stars.

I enjoy playing this game but can’t recommend it due to its enormous drain on my 6s+ battery, to the point that I wonder if playing it will do permanent damage to my phone. I just timed myself playing for 15 minutes, and had 25% battery drain, so 1 hour of playing Inks would completely drain my full battery. My iPhone also gets HOT! Nothing else I do on my phone comes remotely close to draining my battery as quickly. Even if I have my phone plugged in to a good, fast-charging source, this game drains the battery faster than it can recharge! Another weird thing is that despite the high power draw, Inks never gets reported in my iOS-11 “battery” usage settings page. Are the few of us here reporting rapid battery drain the exception? Is the game working without extreme battery usage for most players?
Excitement turned to disappointment....

....as I quickly realized how unplayable this game is. I wanted something mindless to do but the levers that hit the ball, are placed so low on the screen, that the game exits, or the app bar pops up and you can’t access the levers. If this is fixed to be further from the edge, it will be playable.

The game play is so infuriating to me with the black holes and the lack of controllability you have over the ball, the only reason for 2 stars is because I like the basis of the game and how the ball makes a unique design.
