For the record, the devs of this app (ABI Game Studio) have made several space shooters already, slightly improving their content with each new one. This is the first one that I’ve enjoyed for more than a few levels. I’d say it needs some bug fixes and more content (ships and, more importantly, levels), then it’ll earn its 5th star from me. A lot of people have a problem with the grinding and ads, but I’m okay with it; I’m patient enough to grind, and I spent a buck on a starter pack, which disabled all forced ads. My main complaint is that while most of the enemies have fairly manageable shooting patterns, some on higher difficulties (that one big red ship on level 3 hard mode that shoots a ton of shots all over the place, for example) are REALLY difficult to evade without a shield and, worse, they ALWAYS cause lag. To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to deal with these guys easily other than limited-use abilities that you must equip at the start of a level, which just feels unfair. This is not a bullet hell or at least it’s not built like one, so I don’t get why they’re even in the game. I’d really like if the more spammy enemies like this were weakened so their shots were actually possible to dodge. Thanks for reading.

Wow, this Galaga game is rather noice!! I’m leaving this review cause this game is fun, and I’d also recommend Space Battle as another great Galaga game!!

Ads are shorter

Fun game that I can waste time with and still get my fill of an arcade-style game and kill countless aliens. Ads are shorter than most games if you look for the ‘x’ to close them out. Easy way to earn points and level up. So far, I seem to like it just fine. Let’s hope it stays that way as I progress. In all honesty, I’ve only started playing 2 weeks ago.

BEWARE OF THE RIPOFF

While I like the game, it is a complete ripoff. The “supposed” bonus purchases DO NOT WORK! So don’t waste your money. The game offers you a 50% off or double the purchase and you don’t get it. Also, once you get through the meteor storm, the game starts all over again; with NO NEW LEVELS! So if you are looking for something to play, this game is ok, but don’t waste your money on “specials”, you are just making the developer rich. One more thing... to the developer... if you are going to offer this game to English speaking cultures, then you really should check your spelling, sentence structure and the use of the English language in general... it is REALLY BAD!
