Yay, it's back!!!

Beyond And Back

I downloaded the first release and told my buddy about it. When he went to go look for the app it was gone!!! Now it's back. A bit different from the first release but nontheless awesome because it brings indie fm back. *Indie FM 103.1 was the best alternative music station here in Los Angeles. KROQ 106.7 lost it's touch with alternative music (old school and new) and is nothing more than a mainstream corporate, commercialized ruled station. Indie brought faith back to the L.A. Airwaves. Sadly they closed shop ( refused to play the corporate game) and went totally Internet radio which is why this app rocks by bringing indie fm to my brain waves no matter where I go! Want a cool alternative station? Download this app now !!!!!

I was totally pissed when they took Indie off the air! This sort of makes up for it. If you loved Indie 103.1 this is the app for you.

Don't get me wrong, I love indie1031. Diehard fan til the end of time and space, but if theres one thing indie1031 sucked at, it was getting you the titles/artists/albums of their songs. The app pretty much just lets you listen to the station-- and that's pretty much about it. Theres literally two features (three - if you count the huge indie logo) - a button that says toggles play/stop and a useless additional volume slider (as if you really need another one). Yep folks the legacy goes on. So, even when they were on the air, they had this crappy playlist site where you had to search the time so you can find the title/artist but even that was only available for a couple months before they left the air. Would be cool to freaking have the artist/title streamed, and a bookmark so we can saved those favorite streamed songs. If that happens, i'll be a happy man. Seacrest out.

Person who said this is an idiot. Go spend some time in London if you wanna hear English people babel on for hours. Is was supposed to be a music station not talk show.

Update gave me exactly what I wanted. Ability to see artist/song. Also enjoying the new Friday show. Overall no complaints about this app

**Update** I noticed today that Artist/Track information has now been added to this app. Cheers!, 103.1 Indie Rockers!! You've earned your fifth star from me. I really fell in love with 103.1 FM, but now that it's off the air, this is a nice way for me to get my fix while I'm on the road. This is a good app, but what would make it "great", is if the programmers/developers for this app can add the streaming playlist information (Groups/Song titles) like they appear online. Pretty please??
