Cheating

Heartlady214

Gave a higher star rating than was accurate because I wanted more people to read this. Their is some very serious cheating going on amongst the top 10 players. What I mean to say is others in the top ten will beat you in matches they couldn’t possibly win. When testing the various characters strengths and weaknesses I was able to apply an algorithm to represent these various characteristics and discovered those in that top ten were winning when there isn’t even the slightest chance that they could win, at least so consistently as they do. Numbers, as they say, don’t lie. So a few of these players win when they shouldn’t even get close. They are cheating somehow. Maybe the developers are actually playing the game with us and giving themselves more power than the rest of us are able to get no matter what you spend in the hopes you will spend even more money to beat them? Or maybe some others have learned to do the impossible and have hacked the IOS? I don’t know. But know this...you have NO CHANCE to beat the topmost players...no chance whatsoever. They have seen to it. If this bothers you then don’t play this game. It will frustrate the hell out of you. If you are just wanting to pass the time and have no aspirations to be the best then this is actually a pretty fun game in which to pass that time.

Crashes

Tinman007000

Newest version crashes after first battle during walk through tutorial. I keep trying to latest version hoping for the best but again and again....same crash. After so many people having the same issue you would think this would be a priority.

Update

Rfbeatz84

Can we have an update? I like this game but would like to see some new pilots and chapters lol

Fun App

K. K. Brown

As a fan of the films, I must say that this app is the best!

More Pinball Please!

Doog Saibot

This game is alright I suppose. The only problem with it is it is like 500 other games that have released on iOS over the last year or so (Star Wars Heroes, Rush of Heroes, basically anything with heroes in the title) just with a different skin. I am sorry but this developer can do much better than this. Many of you may not realize (or possibly don't care) that Zen Studios developed Kickbeat and CastleStorm for PC and consoles and later put CastleStorm on iOS (they had a couple others just can't remember titles). But they are probably best known for creating the best Pinball games in the world in Pinball FX 1 & 2. They possibly be better than the real thing except for that smell of feet that permeates the air when playing pinball in a bowling alley or something. Sadly, this is just a sign of things to come. More and more developers are making free to play junk on iOS and not developing on PC or consoles because that is where the money is. I am not saying and don't know that Zen Studios is doing this but what I do know is they are capable of so much more. If you have played just one of their virtual pinball tables then you know they are masters at taking the source material and cramming sometimes decades worth of stories onto one table. Please don't stop making Pinball tables for this f2p junk. Gamers deserve better but maybe more importantly the developers themselves deserve better.

Crashitty Crash-Crash!

EXSODER

Pretty good, actually. But it suddenly crashes after a bit, which causes you to lose fuel and premium currency. Gets very repetitive. Needs alien pilots (not just humans flying alien craft) or a chance to fight against the ESD. Need to be able to fly the classic ID4 attacker, it appears as an enemy but not a flyable.

Ok

Sniperogue

Good but could be better same as all other game type

Film & Game review, caution very thorough

James Irion

Be advised, I have already forwarded this exact feedback through other game developer channels. Thank you, once more. --------------- Before I begin, if possible I would like you to refer this part of the message to anyone whom is seeking feedback on the Independence Day Resurgence film. As a huge movie fan and avid follower of the first installment, I wasn't sure what to expect from a movie's sequel cast twenty years later. I definitely was not disappointed. Despite reading the headline right before seeing Resurgence, claiming the film was "a dud", I treated both my parents to see it with me in Imax Real 3D and I must say I was very pleased indeed. No awkward dialogue moments, except for the seemingly odd and overly guy-friendly scene between Okun and his friend towards the end. If compared to Star Wars Episode 3, which had numerous scenes with forced dialogue between Christensen and Portman, ID4 Resurgence was so smooth with the acting it was a major delight to relish in how well everything panned out on screen between varying age groups of cast members. The trademark humor was superbly mixed in to lighten the more serious moments, and the special effects were not only a major boost from the first film but exceeded my expectations. Seeing the film in 3D was also a bonus because the 3D was done better than average films tended to, so the 3D experience turned out to be spectacular also. The casting choices for the next generation, i.e. Monroe as Whitmore, was exceptionally well done and for myself make it exciting to see if future sequels are done with them and how they develop on screen. I know film producers don't act on a single fan's opinion of their films. If my feedback provides another thumbs up to get the next film produced, then by all means let my compliments be read. Thank you. What follows here will be my feedback on the game app itself. I've decided to wait nearly a whole month before providing feedback because, for one, I have appreciated the game so much to play each day in a row. Secondly, I have also recognized helpful suggestions to include in the next game update as well as negative feedback for changes you might be benefited to consider. I figured since purchasing the $19.99 VIP inApp purchase, I owed it to customer support to offer helpful feedback rather than some two-sentence, ham-fisted comment. Positively, I relish the ability to level up without having to make constant inApp purchases of resources or privileges. Inside just under a month straight I have been able to level up with one purchase almost to Level 40. That is good old fashioned gaming concept, right there. And plenty of side stuff to keep a gamer occupied, such as the Combat Arena, daily rotating challenges (nice how all are open on Sunday's), Operation missions, as well as the essentially rewarding daily assignments. Without the daily ones, I would not have been able to consistently level up for much of this month. Not to mention that the rewards from those daily assignments help maintain a gamer's interest and moral with the game. Just a shame the fuel doesn't replenish on it's own faster than it does. Of the questions I have still, the first is after the fixed Marine One event was completed I successfully retained the craft but have not been able to use it. I managed to considerably level and amp it up during that event, but haven't been capable of using it since. If it can only be used for events, the work put into obtaining it is seriously undermined. A second question is why I have not received any Ally acceptance or feedback, after an entire month of daily sending out numerous requests. Having substantially strong allies would help in some gaming areas now that I've reached higher levels. To go hand in hand with that, a critique I've now also noticed being leveled up more is the in-game auto allies are always half my team's PR strength. That makes them insigificant, incapable to stay in a fight, and easier for the AI to eliminate thereby costing me one of the 3 stars for the mission ratings. I would seriously suggest matching those allies made available to be similar in strength to the gamer's four units, otherwise their use is pointless. I'd also suggest explaining or changing the AI turns when fighting in the game, because I was under the impression my units always 'all' went first. I've seen more and more on higher levels that doesn't happen, nor is it all that fair. To wrap this up, I did just think of one last very helpful suggestion for gamers who have purchased VIP status. Regardless of whichever level, it would be very beneficial to know how many Refills are left so that when midnight hour approaches, a refill can be saved once the date changes and in-game items reset for the next day. Rather than a message, a display shown constantly on the main game screen would allow easier planning for fuel use, instead of using up the Refills and having to wait a while for the next round. It would also be helpful if there was a way to purchase Pilot training helmets for leveling up the pilots. One of the easier items to run out of. Finally, in spirit of the Resurgence film, I thought it would be a bonus to add a counter, separate or in-game tally event of each Harvester Queen ship that is destroyed. Think of it as painting a war pilot's kills on the side of his craft. Unilaterally, why not keep track of all the Queen ships all the gamers destroy successfully. Or better yet, offer either a bonus for each one destroyed for a week's time limit or perhaps a separate event (i.e. Marine One) where the focus is to destroy Queen ships. Seems like a splendid, Earthly way to promote kicking some alien butt. To, "kick the tires and light the fires", so to speak. I hope you absorb and share both the film and game feedback to those who need it most. Thank you for taking the time to consider it as well.

Good game but too greedy!

skwirl163

The game is fun but the devs are too greedy. As you start to level up costs too much for in app purchases. They would make more money if they charged $10 for the game after you reach level 10 and eliminate the stupid in app purchases that are way too much for a cell phone game.

Meh

Mantiscruiser

It is a fun game but as previously stated in another review after level 10 you either have to pay or plateau.
