When The Corporation causes all the suns to go out, a small boy named Inco and his strange friend, Helios, go on a galaxy-spanning quest to light the skies once more.

As they explore the planets they discover Grapples, Jetpacks, Teleports, Gravity Beams and other strange machines.

With its atmospheric ambient soundtrack and striking visuals, Incoboto is a moody, challenging, adventure-puzzler in the spirit of Portal and Ico.

**update* The controls are still set up for a 3.5 inch screen. **original review** Thank you SO SO SO much for bringing one of my all time favorite iOS games back from the dead!! This puzzle platformer is just absolutely phenomenal. I can't praise it enough. The unlocks and progression are done perfectly and the story is incredibly touching but also humorous in all the right ways. The graphics and sound design are both fantastic and the satisfaction you feel once you 100% the game is something seen in a very small percentage of iOS games (not just these days, but throughout all of iOS's gaming 'history'). Really hope you guys can fix the virtual controls though, as they're set up for a 3.5 inch screen instead of the newer models screen sizes. Though, even if it's an issue, the original control scheme is also very well done (you can do everything in the game with just 1 finger!!). Even better? Now I don't have to beg people I know to spend a WHOPPING $2 on this game, and they can now check it out for free. =P If you get the GameClub subscription, and haven't played this yet, this is one game you just NEED to check out and take your time with. Read every single little sign and the text that comes along with each and every body you come across. It adds SO MUCH to the atmosphere and story that I can't imagine playing it without having read every little bit of text that was offered to us players. This is absolutely one of the top games offered with this sub.

Please stop prompting me for twitter and open feint!

Fun, non-twitchy, unique and very pretty platformer, but one star off for constantly nagging me about social features. Please make it stop!

Fun, Mesmerizing and Strangely Poetic
Specimen Box

"Sweet", "touching", "melancholic", "other worldly"…not words you usually associate with a video game, but playing Incoboto gave me those reactions. If you felt for Wall-E, a little robot alone on a deserted world and hoped the little guy might have a better life, you should play the role of Inco, striving to find out what happened to his world, his people, his civilization. You play the plunky, self-reliant Inco and discover what really happened, constantly striving to whatever end might be in store. The game is wonderful, a marvelous, mysterious, and mesmerizing blend of action, adventure and brain-teasing puzzle solving. The game uses 2D platforming interface, yet feels far more three-dimensional than most 3D first-person games I've played. There is a real sense of suspense, danger conspiracy, and sometimes even dread, without the violence found in most games. The game has fantastic visuals, special effects, music and sound effects that all blend perfectly to enhance the experience. I was happy with the ending, but sad I had to leave. Play Incoboto and support innovative game design, maybe there is more to gaming than throwing birds around.

It's fun but it crashes
Exosept

As I said it is a fun game but after a while it seems it crashes frequently. I am tired of coming back to the game and being asked if I want to allow access to twiter then if I really want to pass on the Open Feint. Decisively not a multitasking app or a bullying app. Fail.

Boring

I found this game dull and unchallenging. The controls weren't always precise, and the art is definitely nothing to brag about. I thought the sun's character was annoying and the idea that a corporation has left places destroyed but left signs is hardly new. See World of Goo, a much better game. Over all, I wish I could have my money back.

...I need to solve... ...happened to them?!

I own many games and this one is at the top of my current list. I recommend it for those that like Machinarium, Windosill, and Super Brothers Sword and Sorcery on the iPad. The gameplay reminds me of Mario Galaxy, and the way the story is presented is in a fashion similar to the games I mentioned and Portal. There are complexities to the game, like those found in the classics, Metroid and Zelda. It hits your emotions and draws you into the mystery of the storyline. I feel some sadness in response to the storyline but there is also humor in dialog and I feel sympathy toward the main characters, Inco and Helios that It makes me want to keep playing, learn more, and help them. The controls and graphics are very well done. The music in the game reminds me of my sound soother from Brookstone, which makes this game very relaxing to play as well. I am positive this game will be featured as an App Store Game of The Week, very soon!

Absolutely beautiful game!!
MiWall81

I just finished the game after a few days, and I must say, very beautiful graphics, fun little puzzles to try and figure out along the way, great story (very different from anything I've seen) and kept my interest the entire time. I was sad for this game to end!! Recommended it to my brothers and sister, they'll love it as well! This game and Machinarium are the two best games out there in my opinion...! Worth every cent! I seriously loved this game, we need more like it, absolutely beautiful job people!!!
