Don't work

Ricky Bond

Won't give me the side by side on my iphone6s

3D Doesn’t work with Cardboard on my iPhone 6+

There are some icons for various options in the lower right corner, one that looks like it might activate the 3D Google Cardboard viewer option, one that looks like Settings. However this version is buggy; all that it does is flick a pair of eyes onto the screen. The interface needs some work. It promised 3D viewing with Google Cardboard but no luck. YouTube 360 viewing does work with tap-and-drag functionality, but it also does in the YouTube app itself, so why download this?

Great if you don't mind constantly reinstalling it

It solves a huge problem for iOS VR users, but eventually the calibration drifts and you have to look either straight up or down to see the scene. And then shortly afterwards it locks up on a gray loading screen, and a restart of your phone doesn't fix it. You have to delete and reinstall. If there was a way to recenter the view, and if it could stop locking up, it would get 5 stars. If you could automatically import YouTube playlists, I'd give it 6 stars!

Barely functional and DUMB UI Design!

Bbilbo1

Half the videos don't work. Constant black screen with crashes. When you do get a video to work. You need to tap buttons that are entirely too small, and not suited for a VR headset. The "play" button sits where the left eye right eye divider is, meaning you need to open up the cardboard EVERY TIME you want to switch videos. That's so stupid! This app should let you browse and play videos while you are WEARING THE HEADSET. Seriously, be smarter about the design.

Used to be great

But then it just started saying "no video found"

Just a stop-gap until the ios update

I could be fairly harsh about this app and how it operates, but it at least does what it claims to do – present YouTube 360 videos in SBS. Through this app I was able to explore some amazing YouTube videos through my Google cardboard headset. However, all of the interactive aspects (control buttons, search bar, url bar) seemed designed for the iPad, and so were too tiny for my iPhone display. Also, the search function is atrocious. It loads a handful of videos at once (with surprisingly over-large icons compared to the rest of the app), it takes a full 30 seconds to load another handful of search results, and then it stops around 25 or 30 results in. Unless you know what you are specifically looking for, good luck finding it in a basic search. URL function does not work. Again, at least it does what it advertises, simply takes a 360 YouTube video and makes it usable inside cardboard. Hopefully, there will be an iOS YouTube app update to make this app obsolete very very soon.

Great

Works perfect with Google Cardboard. Glad to have something to watch 360 videos in VR on iOS.

Amazing

Unkle joe bro

This is really one coolest things I have ever seen, but for it to stream the videos smoothly you will a powerful WiFi connection. Don't try it at McDonalds.

A complete failure

Well, if there are any positives to this app, I'll never know since it doesn't work. First off, when it does load, everything is in Spanish. And there's no way to change the language. Not only is there no menu or options in the app, the app doesn't even show up on the iOS settings, so there's absolutely no way to change the language. Luckily, I know a little Español, so I tried to search something in Spanish. I did that and, lo and behold, the entire app freezes -- every time I tried. I'm sorry I couldn't leave a more informative review, but I hope this is helpful in keeping people from wasting their time and downloading this app.

Do not bother

This deserves a No Star rating. Total waste of memory space. Ditto the other rating.
