Look at this app right here: you can browse funny images, gifs, inspirational posters and pictures of cats, 'cause, let's face it, everyone likes cats. Upload images to your Imgur account, share them to Facebook or Twitter...like a picture, dislike a picture, comment everything or like and dislike other peoples comments! Save images to your camera roll, receive "Image of the Day" via push notifications or don't if push notifications annoy you. Are we done here? Not by a long shot. With Imgur app you can search and add subreddit galleries to a list for easier access and filter subreddit images by time or score and read subreddit. Pretty cool, huh? We think so too.

It’s been saying this for months it seems. Don’t know if it’ll ever get fixed.

The app doesn’t allow you to login from an iPhone. It sends you to safari and then sends you back to the app in an endless loop of attempting to login. The homepage never refreshes. Random option freezes and produces the exact same content over and over again. It’s literally the exact same page repeatedly, never refreshes. Gifs don’t work 99% of the time. Posts cut off at the bottom and you have to open the link in a browser to see the whole post. The app crashes regularly. By all standards for applications this one does not work. It’s baffling that a website as popular as imgur could fail so fantastically at producing a functional application. These are known, ongoing issues. Get better developers. My nephew in elementary school could code better than whoever runs this garbage app.

When I first reviewed this app I gave it 5 Stars and was on it for hours daily. It appears now to be abandoned as there’ve been no updates for two years. Gifs no longer play in it and if there is a multi picture post it will only download and show the first three which if it’s a story is incredibly frustrating. A real shame as this was WAY better than Imgur’s app.

I've used the version with ads for a long time. They were not too intrusive; some I clicked it on. Now the ads have sound. Really annoying sound. To the point of making the app unusable. I'll give it a few weeks, so the Devs can fix it, but if the ads still auto play sounds, I will uninstall. Could just turn the volume off, but I'd rather have a app that works.
