This App is a Waste of Time

I use iPad, iPhone, and a MAC- I stupidly thought I could watch movies- like Netflix or iTunes movies- no way. This app lets you view your photos or videos in YOUR CAMERA ROLL on a Sony TV. If you use Apple products just stick with Apple TV. Setup is much faster and the Apple TV is 30,000x more functional. This media app seems like it would have been state of the art 12 years ago.

“Cannot play media” is the helpful error message shown when trying to stream any video or song from an iPhone. iTunes purchased videos are not an option. Photos work but streaming is slow and the navigation view is essentially a DOS-like directory system. Sitting through hundreds of pix to find a specific one is too time consuming. I will keep it for rare occasions but it will not become a regular use app.
