when you go to game,there is a board with eight rows and four holes in each row. There is eight options for each hole. You place pegs in each hole
Here play is between your iPhone and you. The iPhone generates a hidden sequence of colored pegs in random and keeps it secret from you.
What you need to do is finding the hidden sequence by trying several colors into holes.When you fill a row, iPhone gives you a feedback response. Black peg means correct guess in color and position, and white peg indicate to correct color in wrong position.
if you could guess hidden sequence, you will win.

This won't stay open on my iPhone just closes right away. I always loved this game as a kid hope they fix it.
Addictive! Just add ability to admire completed games!

Well done, and very similar to the original board game. Enjoyable and addictive; I could play for hours! The main problem is that you cannot view your completed game board at the end of the game. Varying levels of difficulty would also help to accomodate younger players. For example, when I play with my niece (we have an original board game), we use only four colors, with no more than one peg of each color.
The upgrade stopped it

The upgrade today made it inoperable. As soon as you click to "yes" or "no" for enabling sound, it kicks you out. I tried rebooting, and that didn't work. Right now, all I have is an icon, no game.

Very limited options The sounds need a lot of work. Every time you select a color the song "Bad to the Bone" starts playing. Not very professional or appealing On a positive note, i thought the app icon was ok... To the creators, this is constructive criticism; its honestly not my intension to "bash" your app, I would like to see what improvements are made down the line. Thanks for the app but keep trying!
