Unusual yet incredible!

FelineFlare of fate

The hybrid of a comic and mini games is a true work of art. Square Enix has another great product. For those who like comics and games then this is for you.

Fun, thoughtful, unique

faterwhatever

Keep coming back to the mini games, main story mode is excellent. Can't wait for more! If making this a pay app would deliver content quicker then I say go for it! It's worth it. Thanks, developers!

Update?

TheBigQ

It's been literally over a year since the last update. Are we going to see more or is this thing never being updated again? All in all it's a good story, fun little mini-games. But.. Over a year to update..? What's going on?

Desperate for episode 3

Fgjzag shade

Just finished playing through today and it seems that they ironed out every bug I saw in the other reviews. Game plays great and has an awesome story. Ony problem is that I'm not sure if they plan to finish the story. Either way, it's definitely worth a play through. Enjoy the game!

Love it!

Square has done it again. There may not be a whole lot of gameplay, but the complex worlds and interesting characters make for a great time! It is kinda short right now, though...

Getting worried

Jcjpcsml

Great app, with interesting gameplay and story, but I'm getting kind of worried. Almost two years have passed by since the last update and I'm beginning to wonder if the project has been abandoned. I know it takes a long time to animate every cell of the comic, but the second chapter took a year to release. Please Square Enix, don't leave this game, it had a great future as a new genre by swiftly mixing both story reading and gameplay. Please, we need to know if this will keep going or not.

Wow!!!!!

AnimeDsoul

Dude... Square Enix has to start thinking about going into anime, this comic would make a great anime show. best I've Ever seen thanks Enix, keep it up!

When's the next update?

Penniepea

I love this game! It's fun and easy to play and the plot is wonderful. But, it's been close to 2 years since ch2 was released. I'm wondering if the game was abandoned. If not, I can't wait for an update!!

Awesome!!

RuneScythe

I was looking for something different to try and this comic was a great find! The character designs and story is very engaging and the mini-games make for an added bonus! The only downside is that it appears it hasn't been updated in a very long time.. I really hope somebody will pick up from the last update and continue the story. This really isn't some story that shouldn't be cast aside.

Concept vs art

The Archre

The concept of this is intriguing, but it's clearly a baby and needs lots of work. The worst thing about this is the artwork- one of the most fantastic things about square Enix is the incredible artwork, inventive outfits, etc, but this takes that to a whole different level, and not a good one. Almost everything in gaming oversexualizes women in the most impractical ways, but this gets worse. It's impossible to take the female lead seriously when her butt is always hanging out and her boobs are completely deformed. It's as if the artists have never seen breasts before, or have any idea how clothing actually functions- it would literally be impossible for her outfit to stay on, she would have to be holding it onto herself the entire time, yet manages to defeat a boss in it? I thought Rikku in FFX-2 was the lowest you'd sunk, but hers was at least functional, if incredibly uncomfortable. I don't understand these decisions when more women my age game than any other demographic, despite the perception that it's 12 year old boys who game the most. It's not. It's women a decade older. Adjust.
