Crappy app & craptastic speaker

Twingle Mom

This would be a no star review if that was allowed. Bought the speaker on Groupon. Not sure if the bugs are in the speaker or the app. When it works, it's great. But when it doesn't, I'm late for work. Bugs: -it just decides it won't put any sound through the speaker for a while. It'll start up again, in a few minutes, or days. But you can't use your alarm in the meantime. Because it thinks you turned off the speaker sound so when your alarm goes off, it shuts down the app. Silently. Yay. I know this because I reset my alarm when I woke up an hour late one morning and watched it, -it shuts down the app (and your alarm) and drains your battery randomly in the night. Awesome feature. Really, probably my favorite. You wake up late with a dead phone. - it turns the speaker volume down to only a few notches above silent. I kept waking up super late, having hit snooze in my sleep. Finally figured it out one morning when I woke up just before the alarm. It went off, the first note of the chime was at my set volume, but the little speaker block came up on the phone and I watched the volume notches just disappear. Mind you, I turn the volume up all the way before going to sleep on both the phone and the speaker. -when the app is acting up and you try to use another alarm, it silences that alarm. How dare you try to use a functioning alarm app???? - some days it just won't recognize the speaker and just tells you to connect despite the fact it's in the darn accessory charging away. If you click try it anyway, you can't get dound from the speaker because it can't read it's own device. The only positive thing about buying the iphone5 in a few weeks and needing new accessories is trashing this app and speaker without feeling guilty that I've used it for only a few months.

Not bad, but needs work

Has a lot of good things to go with my new iLuv speakers, but the music player is quirky. The next-track button doesn't seem to work and the play button is temperamental. I've not heard the alarm yet, but I'm keeping my old alarm radio set, just in case. I like the weather display and the little speakers sound good. I with the iPod music player worked better with my iPhone, though.

Poor radio feature

Splitwindowcoupe

When it comes to using the radio functions, it does not work, like right now. THE WORST.

Radio

Seebee66

Radio function of app does not work. No support, no updates, no fix.

Good app.

Chodelobber

When the app starts working, delete it and reinstall it and it will work again... For a little. When the app is working it is good.

Very disappointed

Ajmic89

This app is horrible. It does not work at all. People should be pairs to use this app and even then it wouldn't be worth it. Alarm doesn't work, radio doesn't work, iPod rarely works. If there was a way to rate with no stars, I would!!!!

Not at all

Mousepunk

I was looking for something more where i can turn on my radio at night and turn off my phone with no worry.

Worst app

This app suffers from lack of application. It worked fine for about a month, then there began a series of glitches. First the speaker didn't work, then it was the alarm that didn't go off, then the display froze, then the music froze. Each glitch rendered the app useless. I deleted the app each time and reloaded it to try to fix it and it did reset but in about a week another different glitch would occur necessitating another delete and reload. This is the most troublesome app I have ever used. Don't get it, you will regret it

Great idea, piss poor execution.. =(

So the idea of a alarm clock with your favorite music is pretty awesome; I got the dock for Christmas, and tried testing it yesterday and today.. But The alarm never went off. It's depressing cuz I'm sure my parents could have used the money they spent on this for something more useful like an alarm clock that actually goes off. The app keeps reshuffling my music mid song which is quite jarring, and the app has trouble staying open. I'm supposed to be acclimating myself to college life with the alarm clock, but I don't have any other alarm clock thats loud enough and this one doesn't function.. I would recommend that you skip this app, as it is a waste of space, time, and effort.

Not there yet

When you can control the alarm clock device via bluetooth connection to the app, only then will it be worth it
