iLuna allows to easily find out the lunar phase, the Moon's position in the signs of the zodiac and mansions, and a void-of-course period for any day from the year 2005 to the year 2050. It also provides a description for each phase, sign and mansion. You can navigate through the information in various ways — say, phase-by-phase, day-by-day or month-by-month - whatever is more convenient for you.
Phases show you the energy of the day, signs — the mood of the day, while the void-of-course periods might tell you when it is better not to do certain things. Mansions were used by different cultures from the time immemorial, they tell for what a particular day is good or not so good.
To calculate the times, iLuna uses the time zone of the device on which it runs, so if your iPhone or iPod touch shows your current time correctly, iLuna's information is precise too.
Once any of the events reported by iLuna happens, you will get a notification, provided you allowed the app to send you notifications.

I’ve had this app for a long time, and love(d) it, but ever since the latest iPhone update (iOS 14.2) it won’t open anymore. I’m still getting notifications, but can’t get into the app to view/clear them. :( Are there any updates coming?

ILuna is so easy to use and one of the best I have found. I love that I can go back in time and forward to find what sign the moon is in in mere seconds. Thank you for the newer design too. I would also like it if the present day was marked as I usually have to look that up.

good simple app with occasional glitches

i really like this app for its simplicity, and usually i’ve found that it is accurate and works without any issues. however, the past few days something strange happened when the moon went void of course. i received a double notification for it. the first was the usual voc notification but the second one said “moon is void of course: buy some milk.” ..lol?! this happened again today for the notifications when the moon changed signs, “buy some milk.” another recent glitch was the little white circles with numbers in the bottom right corner of the calendar days above the signs were blank. i’d never seen these circles before, but then today numbers appeared in them. #1 begins with aries, in some practices considered the first zodiac sign, but i’ve never seen moon days numbered like that before besides day one being the new moon. maybe there is something i don’t know about this! one other suggestion i would make is for the time navigation- swiping left and right is easy enough for nearby dates, but for years earlier or later it’s not convenient; one time when i swiped back and made it back a number of years, the app ended up crashing. perhaps in addition to the swiping function, there can be the option to enter a date and be brought directly to that date. i definitely still recommend this app, it’s simplicity makes it very easy to use, there are just a few occasional minor glitches that could be addressed.
Weird notifications since update

App is generally very good and reliable for keeping up with astrological lunar activity such as New Moon, Void of Course, etc. The ability to set notifications for these transits is especially useful. However, since the latest update notifications appear twice, and weirdly one of the notifications will show additional text that says “Buy some milk”. Huh? Is this some kind of joke from the developer?

I have been using this app for well over a year or so now and it’s amazing. Simple and to the point. Perfectly color coded for the elements of the moon signs, and it also adds the lunar mansions which are very interesting to read! It has a void of course notification which is incredibly useful. This is a 5 star app. But what is up with the new additional notification that says “buy some milk” with each notification?
