Extremely Buggy App

free market maniac

I pay for monthly service but the app has become extremely buggy in recent months. Stations cut in and out or never load at all. Zero customer service. Time to cancel and find a new app I guess. Too bad. Loved it until 2021.

Great until it’s not

I listen to my favorite morning show on this app and there are so many glitches that oftentimes, I will give up on trying to listen to the show and switch to the apple or luminary podcast apps. It’s incredibly frustrating! This app needs a lot of work. It’s great when it works, but when the sound stops playing back for no reason and won’t come back even after closing and reopening the app, turning off data then back on, I’m not sure what else I can do — especially when I’m at work. Easier to just switch to another app.

So many ads

theforce_us

Pro: tons of podcasts. Access to live radio stations Cons: if you don’t have the paid version, you have to deal with tons of ads. It also seems like the ads on the app get stuck on a loop quit often with the live radio.... so you have to stop and start whatever you’re listening to.... then you end up missing half a segment of a radio show. It’s pretty annoying and happens often enough that it needs to be addressed

The app is slow

mrtallvic

The problem I have on my iPhone 10 Is that after I turn on the app I can’t change Any thing for about 30 seconds then when I turn on the channel I listen to I have to wait 30 seconds again then any changes I like to make I have to wait 30 seconds I was hoping that would improve after paying But still the same problem so I went back to the free version, I have deleted the app and then reinstalled it no change, does IHeartRadio not like iPhones ?

Slow as Two Turtles Farking.

This app is so lumbering and slow it lags like it was created in the 80’ by Russians. C’mon man. Fix it.

Have you guys ever thought of some how linking iHeartRadio with your smart Phone awake up alarm? I think what would be an awesome idea. Just like the old school wake up alarms that have radios

Ad Nauseam

Good app but the ads are getting severely repetitive. I have heard the same three insurance commercials so many times that I can guarantee that I will never purchase their products, mainly out of spite! There is also a minute long ad I have to listen to every time I launch the app, before my radio station kicks in. I get that ads are where the money is and the service is free to use, it’s just something to be aware of with this app. I prefer listening to my FM stations through my stereo when possible and that is mainly due to the repetition of the same ads all the time on this app. Outside of that, no complaints.

Stop playing the same songs over & over back to back

Poltergice

The app is great for podcast, but it’s 10s of millions of songs out in the world. Why do I have to listen to the same 5-10 songs every day every hour. Even after I’ve thumbs down the song. High fashion plays about 3 times a day within a hour. Dior, Going bad, laugh now cry later, drip too hard, & Go crazy just to name a few. They play EVERY DAY!!! The same songs over & over! Sometimes they even play back to back ??. It’s to the point now to where I just close the app when the songs play. & restart it after about 3 mins hoping it’s over. If I thumbs down a song I don’t wanna hear it. But for some reason they play more now. Come on IHeartRadio. Switch it up....

Opening songs

EVIE FOREVER

I really miss the opening songs they play when the Elvis Duran show starts that each one requests. I can’t get the show anymore on Sirius so I listen the next day. Love the show miss the music
