If you're looking for a fun music app for toddlers and youngsters, check out the Igrecway Xylophone app, now available for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.

A toy app designed for kids between the ages of 2 and 5 years, Igrecway Xylophone is a fun app for kids who are music-oriented. This xylophone app is an ideal first step in your child's musical education.

The Igrecway Xylophone app features three sound themes: a traditional xylophone sound, bells and -- for animal lovers -- a barking dog! Kids can easily toggle between the three music themes, making it an ideal app for keeping your child occupied while traveling, shopping or in a waiting room.

Igrecway Xylophone is designed for young children, so it features bright colors, large xylophone keys that are easy for little fingers to play, and even an animated background with clouds and floating balloons.

My Son's Finally Entertained

My son gets bored really easy and it's hard to find apps that entertain him. This does the trick. It's bright. It has his favorite color blue all throughout it. He loves trying to make a great song on my iPhone when we're in the supermarket or waiting in traffic. Maybe the music doesn't sound great, but he's 3, and he's quickly learning how instruments work. This is a great introduction, considering I want to start him on piano soon. On top of that, he loves the fact that he can make songs with barks, and there's even what I call a mini-game. He can pop the balloons which entertains him if the xylophone itself starts to lose its wonder.

Love the virtual instrument

My son loves playing with this on my iPad because the colors are so bright and the sounds are very realistic. He has already learned to play Mary had a little lamb all by himself!

Great replacement for a classic toy!

This app is great for letting the kids explore music without having them bang on a toy that just takes up room most of the time. Not to mention you can plug earphones in this version of the toy, lol. The sounds are great and the graphics are perfect. Glad I picked this one up!
