Missing a bit of storage

ThomasHarris

If you go into setup and change it so it is only 2 glyphs and then start the Application over, it has forgotten what your setup was. If you change it to slow or very slow, forgotten. In fact any changes you make, totally forgotten every time. If you want to just learn the glyphs by having them come up one at a time, nope, 2 in the minimum.

Awesome glyph trainer!!

Shadowdane

Great glyph trainer for Ingress! Has helped me a lot I getting those 4 & 5 glyph sequences. A lot better than the other trainers I've tried.

It dose what is is meant to.

I found that the app looks great and runs smoothly but for me there is 2 problems. 1: it simply goes too fast through the sequence! If this would slow down it would be a lot better. 2: It needs a larger range to pick up the dots on the glyph drawing and it would be cool to have if line up with it too. Fix that and your good to go!

Ok

Shows glyphs entirely too fast...impossible to study/learn them. Put option in to display glyphs for X number of seconds.

Great potential, but...

This is the best app I have found that actually matches the glyphing on Ingress, but it only gets 3 stars because it is too fast for learning (faster than actual scanner!). Tried app support but no way to contact so doing feedback via review here, which will hopefully be read! Also, no way to reset score? (uninstall and reinstall would probably do it, but...!). Suggestions: Have a speed setting (I would like a slider bar with slowest being very slow for total novices and fastest as now (slightly faster than actual). Speed setting should have an "actual" option which matches scanner glyph speed. Score: * Score reset button needed (all or individual) * Have separate scores for 1-5 glyph sequences and an overall score. * Have a score setting option for actual (75/150) or percentage (50%) so we can see our optimum sequence. * Have "score" monitor how many times we get 100% correct for each 1-5 glyph sequence. Thank you for reading. I really like the app. I especially like the option to see the glyph name when it first appears - that really helps to learn glyph names (but again, for learning it MUST be slower!!). Thanks - and keep up the good work. I will change my review as any app amendments are made.

Too fast

OmnyPresence

changes glyphs way too fast. need a setting option to adjust speed. would also like to toggle timer.

Needs Multiple Modes

I love the speed control feature you added, and this is a super helpful training app. An improvement I'd suggest is for multiple modes; the one you have is great, but I'd also like to be able to train glyphs of my choice one by one.

Call me Sho'nuff, because I'm the Masta!

Using this in combination with Matt Nespor's "Glyph Mastery" app is perfect for learning the glyph language. Before the apps I would struggle with 3-glyph hacks; now I'm regularly nailing precious Level 8 portals with 5-glyph hacks. I wouldn't call it too fast even at "normal." If anything the Level 8 portals give you less time when flashing the glyph sequence. If you could mash this together with Nespor's app it'd be perfect, but I don't mind switching between them; they're tiny apps. Thanks for helping "enlighten" me. ??

Very helpful to learning

New to Ingress, glyphs are the most challenging party of the game so far. This app gives practice. I use it alongside the glyph dictionary (in app store), to learn this written foreign language.
