Igbo101 is a fun, educative and interactive app that gets you started in Igbo, a rich language synonymous to a large section of people from South Eastern Nigeria, West Africa.
Follow the tutor, Onye nkuzi Àsà (Cultural Teacher) as she takes you on a quest to get acquainted with the Igbo language using a combination of colorful illustrations, text, voice and games.
Go from newbie to speaking your first words in minutes following through with Onye nkuzi Àsà's tested guidance to aid your learning.
Igbo101 is structured with an assumption that the user has no prior understanding of the language. Each module builds on the other providing the user with an incremental acquisition of the language.
Monitor your progress across every module by playing simple interactive games with performance indicators at the end of each helping you understand where you need to concentrate your studies.

it won’t let me do anything except for knowledge and i need to move on but there is. nothing else on the screen so it needs to show a video on how to work the ipad. i have to now delete the app because it would not work !!

I must admit this app improved my Igbo tremendously. When learning a language you need to listen, spell and repeat. Plus there are fun games too. So if you were not opportuned to learn this language as a child, you have another opportunity through this app :)

This app is awesome! My parents are from Nigeria and speak Igbo and I really wanted to learn (since I was born in America). This app has made it so easy, and the only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because you have to purchase a lot of stuff in order to get the full app. Otherwise it's a great app and I would recommend it to anyone who only knows some basic Igbo and wants to learn more!

The best Igbo app I’ve seen

I adore this app for my family. The lady speaking Igbo on the app makes this the best app I’ve seen. Only issue is that it does not save my username, email or password. So signing in and out is pointless. It does not save my progressions.
Won’t delete from my phone

I uninstalled and deleted the app and it still keeps popping up in my settings and also on my home screen when I reset my phone. It’s so aggravating.
