Very minimal usefulness

The free version ONLY allows the entry of 20 unique items. Deleted this app, pronto

Needs improvement

This app is not user friendly. I could not set it up because there wasn't a clear way to use it & no instructions. I tried several times to enter items & they did not seem to go to the proper category.

PLEASE UPDATE

I really wanted this app to work and even took a risk paying for the "full version," hoping against my better judgment that it would help. I agree with the previous reviewer---it is totally clumsy, complicated, and not user friendly at all. Seems like a great idea--I get really tired of re-inventory-ing my freezers every few months, but neither do I enjoy wasting my valuable time on worthless apps. (or writing reviews for them!) I'm hoping the developers will listen and fix the problems here. Just make it simple---no automatically added dates, no complicated category hierarchies. Give us the option of simply creating a few locations to start with! This could be a great app. Please fix it. (and until then, I think it's terrible to charge for an "upgrade" that is just as worthless as the free version!)

Not impressesd!

I expected more options on this app. Really didn't help keep track of the groceries. I probably could do better with a pen and paper.

Simplicity is the key

I like this app. It is simple and does what I want it to do. I can create categories and subcategories to keep track of my food which is in several locations. That is all I need it to do. I especially like that I can check the database using both expiration dates and location. I have had almost no difficulty in creating the database although I organize things a bit differently from what they suggest. It still works fine. The only drawback I've found is that I can't seem to figure out how to add something to the shopping list. If I reduce an item to zero, it asks me if I want to delete it? Everything I've tried has not worked and the Help is not entirely helpful. Once I get it to work, it'll be worth a purchase from me. Update - Since my update to iOS 5 on the iPad, iFroze is SUPER glitchy and won't respond. BTW, I never heard from the developers regarding a previous problem and there have been no updates whatsoever. Still a good idea. Bad execution. I wouldn't recommend this app.

Very helpful!!

I dont know why the bad reviews!! i got a deep freezer not too long ago and have started adding meals to it. This app is awesome. I can add categories and subcategories with ease, sort easily and in the notes section put what I need to add to the meal or the cooking instructions. Wish list: export function so I can print it and have it on my fridge as well and ability to edit a category.

Good, But needs some tweeks,,

I Have just enterec the contents of my garage freezer and the freezer in the kitchen fridge. Love the ability to make sub categories. Found I had more in the freezer than I thought. Would love to be able to sync with other devices and to use a bar code scanner for item entry. Good app at what it does.

Awful.

This app is no better than the reminders feature already built into the iPhone. You cannot scan or search items, it was not in any way worth the $3.99 I WASTED! Could've bought a notepad and pack of pens cheaper with the same utility level.
