iFactor Pro contains support for complex (imaginary) numbers in addition to a one-of-a-kind Exact Value Mode. Exact Value Mode will keep answers in fraction and radical notation -- it even reduces fractions and breaks down radicals completely!
Examples:
Factoring: 6x² + 13x + 6 = (2x+3)(3x+2).
Solving (Exact Value Mode): 6x² + 13x + 31 = (-13/12) ± (5/12)i√23
Solving (Decimal Mode): 6x² + 13x + 31 = -1.083 ± 1.998i
This app contains both the iPhone/iPod and iPad versions.

This app just saved me hours on my math home work! The app CAN minus but as far as I know can't do powers above squared. Still a major time saver for those basic factor problems.

Simple. Easy. Great. One small issue though, for the - button to show I have to switch from solving mode to factoring mode... Not much of a problem but could be an easy fix

This app saved my rear! The only thing I would complain about is you can't change the powers. But it's an effective and efficient way to solve those simple guess and check problems. HIGHLY recommended.

Love the app it really helps although, it would be even better if you had the option change the addition signs to subtraction signs
no minus sign
1st iPhone
Upgraded to Pro for the minus sign on the keyboard. Result = no "-" sign . Hopefully this will get fixed. 1 star until its fixed.
