This game has been a great game for me. You collect loot offline so you can easily get levels and upgrades. You should download and play Idle Heroes.
Slow to build without spending big money

All the updates and constant new characters pushing “older” ones into uselessness is making this game impossible to play without buying many overpriced packages. Bummer. It was so much better before the greed kicked in.

I love this game but there’s not much left to do once you finish your daily things. And the rewards for arenas are not much so you have to save them then when you spend it and get a 3 star it’s kinda disappointing lol

You can play this game for free, but there is a continuous power creep and increasing cost of events. You can be a terrible player and dominate the server if your pockets are deep enough. When the game first started f2p players could legitimately challenge p2w players who just threw money at the game. Smart planning and strategy provided f2p a path to rank top 100 on any given server. I get devs are looking to make money and I don’t think f2p should compete with p2w, but recent event costs have been ludicrous. $400 to complete the Thanksgiving event and $680 to complete the Black Friday event?! If you want to compete with the top players on a server, expect to pay over $1000 a month. If you aren’t aiming to be competitive and/or complete events, this could be a game for you. Gameplay is not as advertised. That said, the game is entertaining initially as you get free bonuses early on, but eventually you will hit a wall that will take months to climb. Do not expect to have a maxed hero within the first year of gameplay as f2p. Hero copies are earned mostly through chance so you could plan/play the game perfectly and still have a bad team if your pulls are unlucky. Luck plays a critical role. You need 10 copies of a 5* hero to E5(max) the hero.

This game is super addicting and fun, AS long as you are progressing which can be hard to do sometimes. My criticisms are: Make there be like deals like 50% off senior privilege cards also make it a bit easier to get fodder also maybe make the VIP point requirements lower
