There is nothing idle about it like the name leads you to believe, which is fine no big deal. On top of that though, it’s just a horrible tower defense game overall, too simplistic.
Get rid of the drag and drop skills

Game is fun, and i was enjoying until i needed skills. Everytime i went to drag and drop the skill the notification window on ios dropped down and the skill was wasted.

This game is called Idle Defense, there’s nothing idle about it, even if you sit there and let the waves start by themselves it still isn’t idle, you have to be constantly using abilities and upgrading and speeding up. Also, in the first level, I had plenty of buildings upgraded max and the last enemy was so hard. The second mission was insane, the first wave was hard, I HAD to use my abilities, also you gain nothing from winning or even getting far. This game is not well planned out and is very plain and difficult. Also, there’s something at the bottom of the screen, but I can’t see it cause there’s a banner ad on it. You will get enough money from people watching ads for the abilities, so get rid of the banner ads, I want to play the game and enjoy it not see an ad at the bottom. Another thing, the abilities are at the very top of the screen, when I try to drag them it drags down the of the screen, which brings down the notification, just move the abilities down, to the side, or on the bottom, but not all the way on the bottom, cause then for iPhones the other menu will pop up. Hi .. it’s good game .. very challenging.. but when i want to use the bomb on top right .. it is hard to get it because the notification bar appears with the touch and it ruined the game .. also it is very short game .. i finish it in about 2 hours .. also it need to start with more currency .. It need some general updates and it will be great one ..

It’s a visual stunner, with engaging and challenging gameplay but there is no depth and balance. The first 50 waves (2 full missions) can be defeated using just one tower type. Tower Madness 1 and 2 are a much better example of this genre. This game still needs development work. It has potential to be great, but it falls way short in this first release.

Some of the buttons need moved like the one to shoot tanks directly and the one to lay mines on the track. They are so close to the top of the screen that my front screen keeps acting like I’m trying to drag it into view, causing me to shoot where Tanks aren’t and to lay mines where there isn’t any track. I like the game play, but some things need tweaking before I can give this a better review.

Honestly, I was hyped for this game, due to it looking similar to Onslaught, a flash game I played years ago on PC. The fact that it was idle, sigh me up!..... Yeah, no. First off, the map doesn’t even load on any of the two levels I played, it was blue/gray mesh, which is a real problem for planning. Secondly, as many have mentioned, it is brutal to beat level one, and impossible (pretty much) on 2 and beyond. I found myself frustrated than entertained, the fact 1, there is no progression existent, and the game isn’t even idle in the slightest. Makes me really upset, as I had hoped for a better game, hopefully over updates it will be good. But as it stands, it’s barely playable and a chore to do anything... And PLEASE FIX THE SKILLS LOCATION!!!! I was driven nearly insane when dragging to use them, resulting in my notifications menu being opened 80% of the time. If all of these issues and problems are addressed, I will put this rating higher.
