Once you scan an ID the information is stored locally on your iPhone, iPod or iPad. You can register for free to have your scan history uploaded to the cloud and accessed via a web portal. Registration is optional and free and can be done on the ID scanner app. Once registered you can use multiple devices running the ID scanner app to create a networked cloud storage. Use the network to create a CRM database of unlimited ID scans that can be reviewed online and exported to multiple file formats. Use the ID scanner app to identify and flag your patrons. You can create multiple tags (such as VIP, banned, 86, sales prospect, client, guestlist, etc.) through the ID scanner app and the online portal. Once you scan the ID of your patron through the ID scanner app you can attach any of your custom tags to that individual, so that next time you scan their ID, the ID scanner app will alert you to their status. These patron tags can be shared through multiple devices using the ID scanner app by using the free registration cloud.

Use the ID scanner app to validate IDs and verify legal age as well as any alerts attached to the patron. When you scan an ID using the ID scanner app it will automatically check if the ID is a fake using our proprietary 2D barcode and magnetic stripe parser to validate the contents of the ID. If the ID is deemed to be fake you will be alerted through the ID scanner app. You will also be alerted if the ID scanned is for someone that is underage or has had an alert put on them at any of the devices networked and using the ID scanner app. You can set the legal age through the settings of the app and you can also add/remove alerts through the app or through the online web portal.

Market to your customers by manually entering their SMS number or email after scanning their ID. This is a simple and effective way to create a powerful CRM of your customers/patrons with their emails and SMS numbers. Use the free online web portal to send out SMS marketing messages. Once you register for a free online cloud account you can create SMS marketing campaigns that send out text messages to your customers. You can filter these campaigns based on how many times their ID has been scanned, their age, gender, distance to you, zip/postal code, or the last time their ID has been scanned. Send out as many SMS marketing campaigns as you wish for free through the online cloud web portal.

Scanning IDs is fast and easy in the ID scanner app by using the camera on your iPod, iPhone or iPad. However, if you do want to use a faster ID scanning solution, you can purchase the optional ID scanning case. This scanning case has its own battery and can scan 2D barcodes as well as magnetic stripes, which ensures reading of majority of government issued IDs. The scanning case uses its own imager hardware for scanning 2D barcodes, so it can scan barcodes and magnetic stripes in every lighting condition. The ID Scanner App will read the following fields from the ID: name, date of birth, address, city, state, postal/zip, issue date, expiry date, document number and gender.
