Search PeakBagger's vast database of mountain peaks and lists of peaks, and map them on your iPhone or iPad. Record your ascent data in the field directly from iCE Peak to PeakBagger.com.
got the following error when trying to view the map on the My Ascents list: "Gmap4 is trying to display a data file but there is a problem with row number 327 of that file. Message #112." would also like to be able to sort ascent list by peak name. basically, hoping to see more of the same features that the website has. will keep checking back for updates.
The app seems to crash frequently when going between pages. Also quite slow with response times. I have found it to be an annoyance. Ill stick with the website for now until this is upgraded.
Love this app. Use it all the time when can't get to the peakbagger website.
Amazing. Finding nearby peaks and having all your peak bagger data all the time. Priceless.
This is a fantastic app that features dozens if peak lists, tracks you progress on the list, and allows you to find the nearest peaks to you using your phone GPS. Amazingly simple and useful.
Like the extensive peak list and detailed information. The search function seems a little quirky, sometimes showing lots of irrelevant stuff that doesn't even seem to match my search term. I wish it had an easy way to generate directions from my current location to a particular peak. The interface shows "no peaks" while it is actually searching, which is a little disconcerting. But there is no other app that does what this does, namely keep track of lists and show information about peaks.
The app won't allow me to create a profile, it keeps crashing after I enter my data.
I enjoy using the app to plan out future peak hikes. I really like the available CalTopo maps. Never had a problem with it.
Crashes every time I try to add anything! Love the concept but it is frustrating. Hope it gets fixed soon!
