Covers Basics

Covers the basic needs for record keeping. Easy to use. However, the program needs a couple of refinements: 1) the ability to backup data and 2) the ability to print or export the data.

The concept is great. I like how simple it is. Please keep it that way. However, I agree with Angus Farmer, that the data needs to sync with a central cpu or online database, or at minimum be able to print out data. Also, it would be nice to sync multiple phones to one centralized database, where multiple people can report on the same herd. Also, I would like to know the capacity before i enter 1/2 the herd and realize that I have utilized all the space. Looking forward to the next version! -thanks for the app!
Very nice app for cattleman but....

There needs to be an ability to search this database app and enter WW, YW etc. But don't get me wrong it's a great app. After using it for awhile it would certainly be nice to enter breedings and preg, etc to get a due date. Would be willing to pay more for an app that provided more if all this goes beyond their intended scope of this app.

Worked great. Until I had to get a new phone and the data didn't back up with the program and lost it all.

Just great so far.The best app on the market for a cattleman. Love it. Hope one day they will add a way to log your sale prices for your calves so you can track it one year to the next.
Lost all information

App was great and kept track of all that I needed until I installed the latest update. Once the update was complete, all my information was gone, with no way of getting it back. Very upsetting.
A little confused...

Ok so is there anyway I can sync the data that I have on this app that's on my iPhone to the app on my iPod touch? I think that needs to be considered for the next update because its a pain having to re-do everything. Plus it always crashes whenever I try to select gender under the system settings! Please fix!

Lost all data after updating. Emailed tech support they told me how to run the data recovery. After completing the process it only recovered half the herd's data. All of my calf data is still missing. Do not depend on this app as a source of permanent records!

When transferring data the app will not upload all your saved data. The app has very poor back-up capabilities. I don't want to see anyone in the beef industry put all their hard work in record keeping in this app and then loose all the data due to the poor design. I have transferred all my data in an app called errands, you can e mail batch files, e-mail the data base file for backup or email the data base to another farm hand that has the app and they can update all their records. Or you can save the data base in dropbox or I cloud. All works flawlessly and very easy.
