App needs to deal with location services

Frankie2blue

I really don't like using an app that want to access location services all the time and eat my battery life. Why they don't just add a button that adds the option of location services while you are using is beyond me. This single issue ruins the app for me

iBiker

I like using the app for outdoor activities (biking, walking, light jogging). I have tried to use it in spin class but all it calculates is the time. Encourages me to workout.

Very helpful

Dmclendon

Love the fact I can use for biking and walking. Will be helpful in losing my weight because it calculates calories burned as well. Thanks!

Great cycling app

Loopdog0325

This is the best cycling app that I have used. It keeps great stats syncs to multiple apps (even Apple HealthKit). It also allows users to keep stats for other cardio, running and hiking.

Amazing customer service

Slow Twitch

Bought the app and the sensor package today, but had trouble getting my HRM strap to synch. I submitted a trouble ticket, and got a thorough, correct, and courteous response from a tech named Chris within 30 minutes. That's the quickest response that I've ever received. Now I am synching just fine, and expect to get good results with iCycle at tomorrow's spin class. Well done, Chris!

Great Except for Location Tracker Always ON

The Cazman

I've been using this app for a week now and I really like the intuitive layout and useful data. My Fitbit app picked up the data and adds in my heart rate from my Fitbit HT when viewing my ride activity in the Fitbit app. Unfortunately the heart rate data from my Fitbit HR is not read or imported into the iBiker app. There seems to be a problem getting the time of the ride syncd correctly in the Fitbit app because although iRide shows it correctly the Fitbit app shows it way off, like 1AM vs actually 6PM. I would have given it 5 stars if the location services had the option for "while using the app". The choices are only "always" or "never".

Works Like a Charm

Newton’s Apple

I really like this app because it’s easy to use, has giant text that is easy to read, yells out my progress (or lack thereof) as I ride, and transfers workout data to my fitbit account with no muss or fuss. Other fitness trackers I’ve used in the same areas drain my phone’s battery within 30 minutes, don’t track at all, or inaccurately, when they can’t find a juicy signal, or don’t sync directly to fitbit. This one does it all. The only things I dislike are the color scheme, which looks like a three-year-old was trying to use every crayon in the box, and that the map isn’t detailed enough to use for navigation, but these are minor quibbles, in my mind, for an app that does what I want it to do so smoothly.

Bike walk with Scosche sensor.

Works great for five years use with road and mountain bike and for walks. Love this app on my I-phone 6 plus

Does what it's designed to do and then some. Easy to use. Appreciate the pause function
