After a new product installation, the app enables you to quickly scan the model and serial number and automatically uploads the information to a database accessible to the manufacturer and the contractor’s company. This activates the customer’s product warranty and starts a countdown that will notify all parties when the UV light and/or media need to be replaced. Lamp and media replacement is a lucrative part of the indoor air quality business that should not be neglected. The customers’ personal information can be preloaded at the contractor’s office prior to the visit. Information collected about the type and number of product installations can also be used for Fresh-Aire UV sales incentive programs.
