Disappointed

Jen_reineke

This app was recommended by a friend and I had great expectations. However, I was never able to get multiple phones to sync properly. I purchased the full upgrade for my phone but it wants me to purchase the upgrade for all the phones I want to sync.

Great app. So helpful

I tell everyone with kids about this app. It is so helpful. No longer having to keep track of what I've given them and what they earned.

Happy with my purchase!

Easily customized-great support-great for multiple children to track activities

Great app

I only have the free version but it does exactly what I needed to do. I will be upgrading to the pay version soon as my next kid is almost old enough for an allowance.

Amazing!!

I have 2 boys with autism and 3 kids with ADHD so we are on a money behavioral chart. This app has made my life so much easier and has saved me time when it comes to calculating everything and giving out rewards! Thank you for your amazing app!

This is a rip-off!

This was made a year after Allowance Manager, and its identical! It even copied the app photo of a piggy bank! I would suggest getting Allowance Manager, it's much better.

Hidden fees

$3.99 if you want more than one kid or more than 2 chores or accounts. Then another $0.99 if you want to sync with another device on the SAME account?! Hard to set up, easy for the kids to go hog wild checking, a pain to delete checks one at a time. Ugh. What a waste of $3.99.

Great concept! Some functionality issues.

The overarching idea is brilliant and it's been working for our family. The kids use iPads connected to my iTunes account so set up between the three of us was easy. I appreciate the parental controls that allow us to approve checkmarks as well as the ability for a child's device to only show her own chart so they aren't snooping on a sibling's progress without her knowing. The deduction feature for bad behavior has been tremendous at improving attitude, tone, and treatment between siblings. However... Disappointments: 1) Had to purchase $3.99 upgrade on both parent phones due to differing iTunes account for dad. Annoying. 2) Due to #1, had to delete iCloud sync settings and set up again to sync to Dropbox. 3) Due to #3, had to set up a separate Dropbox account specifically for this purpose. Were I not tech savvy I'd be frustrated and would have given up. Otherwise, lots of good stuff here.

Great idea for an app!

It took me a moment to get the hang of it but when I did the kids saw the progress instantly. Their behavior has affects on their rewards and they also see how their savings grow and how their tithes for church work out as well. What a great app, I'm defiantly recommending it to all my friends that have kids.

Confusing... not easy to use

Hate COC Update

Not easy to use... not paying for that.
